Halo 2 Tournament this Saturday

[b]Halo 2 Pairs Tournament, this Saturday, 7pm central[/b] [b]PLEASE download the latest maps. Be aware that if your Xbox has been repaired since you last played, you need to erase the maps and download them again.[/b] This weekend is one of the 3 ways you can apply for a Halo 3 Beta invite. If you play 3 hours of Halo 2 online sometimes Feb 1-3, and also sign up for the "Rule of 3" event on Halo3.com (the signups don't open until Feb 1st) then you stand a good chance of getting into the beta. So we're passing the time together. This is not a serious tournament. Like the Gears tourney, it's another attempt for goodjers to have fun together. This is one day only, just show up and have a good time. Please come late or leave early if you have to. Play with your goofy sister. Flaunt your Halo non-skills. If you've been to Zombie Skate, you know that fun is the priority. The tournament is played in pairs. You start will 1 person that you get to play with the entire tournament. If you don't have anyone, just show up and we'll get you with someone cool. We'll swap pairs out to form bigger teams.

You haven't experienced Halo2 if you haven't experienced it while listening to Kentuckians rant about sex with dolphins, sex with fruit and sex with each other. Zombie is a two-team Slayer variant. There is a Human Team and a Zombie Team. The Humans are armed with shotguns, the Zombies: plasma swords. The Zombie team starts with one player, known as The Zombie. When The Zombie kills a human, that human must switch teams and become a zombie himself. The game ends when all humans have been Zombified. The last human standing becomes The Zombie for the next round. To keep things interesting, Zombies are required to chant "Brains ..." or sing Queen tunes. For the Jehova's Witness variant, replace "Zombie" with Jehova's Witness," and modify behavior accordingly.
