Looks like a theater in Utah got a bright idea. Hook up some projectors in the theaters after the movies are done and charge 60$ a team for halo tourneys. Spectators only pay 3$.

I''d do it, what a blast! It''d be a shame that I''d kick all those high school kid''s asses though...

Friend of mine hooked up a projector to his Gamecube and we played Madden 2004 with life-sized players on his basement wall. It was awesome but we noticed that racing games or anything with a lot of fast movement sometimes gave people headaches. Of course, if I could hit the local Cinemark for some big screen gaming that would be cool too.

Wow. If I had $60 extra, i''d sign up so fast...

So how much longer until Uwe Boll buys the rights to the Halo movie, if he hasn''t already?

Well it would only be 15$ per person as it is teams (4 people) that pay 60$.

I''m not a hater, but I never did understand the appeal of Halo. Does it pick up later in the game? It just seemed like an adequate shooter to me.

I would pay $80 to play Steel Battalion and Burnout 3 on a screen like that. I could sit and the back row too with my Logitech wireless xbox/ps2 controller.

I never finished it either getting about halfway judging by the save pictures. I don''t like the controls for FPS''s on consoles but I also had a small TV. I did get a bigger TV for my wedding so maybe I''ll try to pick it back up and see if I can get past whereever it was I was stuck.

Playing games on a huge scren is the only way to go. I bought an LCD projector to use with my game systems and now I cannot go back. I hit the 100 hour mark (bulb usage) in about 2 weeks!

I bought an InFocus X1 DLP projector for my basement. It''s native resolution is 800x600, however it scales 1024x768 with (in my opinion) excellent quality. The X1 is superior to the X2 due to the Faroudja DCDi video processor, which produces excellent video quality. I read and compared models for over a year and narrowed in on the X1 based on the enthusiastic reviews and posts on AVSForum. I couldn''t justify the expense of going to a 1024x768 projector based on the feedback for the X1.

I''m really happy with mine -- its set up for an 80"" widescreen. It has been great for the Xbox as well as my HTPC.
