Family Guy Returning
From the New York Times

This Emmy-nominated comedy, canceled and left for dead by Fox, has now returned to full-scale production in a rare case of television resurrection. It is one of two prime-time animated series that Mr. MacFarlane is making for the network."Family Guy" was revived because of an unusual turn of events. While the show was on hiatus, reruns of it on Cartoon Network proved unexpectedly successful, especially among a prized television demographic group: men 18 to 34. The series drew more young men in its late-night Cartoon Network slot (it is usually on at 11 p.m. or later) than two of its broadcast competitors, CBS's "Late Show With David Letterman" and NBC's "Tonight Show With Jay Leno." (At the end of this month Cartoon Network plans a special week of shows, including appearances by a costumed Mr. MacFarlane portraying several of his characters.)
Not a big fan myself, but I know a bunch of you folks might be interested.

Cartoon Network is going to be airing it right? Oh how I hope Fox wont have anything to do with it.

Family guy rulz!
Boo. Bring back Invader ZIM!
Was that show ever doomed from the Get-Go. One wonders if the people at Nick had ever heard of Jhonen Vasquez or read ""Johnny The Homicidal Maniac"" or if they just heard the word ""cartoon show"" and started drooling.

Putting it on Fox in the summer isn''t so bad. It won''t get preempted by football, plus this year Fox has thrown about seven flavors of dog sh*t on their schedule and it doesn''t look like they''ll get pulled because of low ratings.

You don''t think ""Meth & Red"" has got legs? It''s funny because they''re black and everyone else is white!

That''s the funniest thing I''ve read all day.
We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea.
Every time I see this show I can only think of G4 passing out advertisements for it at E3 saying ""Check out this new show, you''ll love it!"" Then they hand one to Certis and he screams at them ""What the hell is wrong with you people?"" Then there were some more explitives.
Nickelodeon was the death knell for that show, they treat all their cartoon shows like sh*t. Even back in my day when they started Nicktoons. The only people that can seem to get a fair shake out of them was the guys that do Rugrats simply because they''re so marketable. If you can''t turn your cartoon into a plush doll, we''re going to fire you and hire Koreans who can!
"If I was Obama I'd have made a joke about that. Then again, if I was Obama I'd have f*cked up my own campaign long ago by making c*ck jokes." - 1Dgaf
"Poor Achmed, only three days away from retirement ... from Jihad." - Mike Nelson
Reminds me of a Simpsons line, something like ""Ethnic mismatch comedy #357 ... has been canceled.""

Ummmm... didn''t we already talk about this? I remember hearing this quite a ways back. Now if only they''d bring back Futurama (zim would be badass too, but I doubt it, maybe Spike will pick it up in syndication.

That''d be great, but I doubt Spike would be the ones to do it. Spike TV likes Stripperella and This Just In, Zim doesn''t exactly fir their bill, what with not ahdering to their ""Tits and Dick Jokes"" policy. Maybe Sci-Fi will at some point.
