Gmail Invite Thread

I got on the Gmail beta and I keep getting the option to invite friends to join. The only problem is I have run out of friends! So I thought I would help out some fellow GWJ users with accounts if they didn't have any. I thought it would also be cool if anyone else had any invites they didn't want they could give them to other GWJ members.
So if you want one just respond to this thread and I'll do my best to hook anyone up. I'm going to work within the confines of the honor system here so I am going to trust people to not ask for an account if they already have one.
Oh yeah after a few days you should get a link to invite others when you log in. Please share with others here when you get this link.
I would love the oppurtunity to abandon hotmail and it''s puny 2 mb limit. I think it would be interesting to get in on the beta for this. Count me in! My current email address is jearmbruster@hotmail.com.

Off hand, how would you rate Gmail? Sure the space they give you is great, but have you messed with any of the other features?

The good news is that those who get in, can further spread the gmail love with further friend invites. Even us lurkers!
Call it hunch, but depending how the friend invite thing works, there is a small possibility that everybody who responds here could eventually get a beta account.

I am desperate to get away from yahoo mail which is causing me to recreate a new password every other day or so (that''s right, I have to go through the process of changing my password every 48 hours or so). I wish I knew why . . . .

All: there have been some concerns about gmail, e-mail storage and privacy/data mining. Do you think these issues are scare mongering/innaccurate or do you think you''ll be using gmail in such a way as it won''t matter?

I think Yahoo and Microsoft do it anyway, and am just glad Google is upfront about it. Google won''t sell the information on you, no human will read it, and the ads may actually interest you. If I get one more dating service ad in hotmail when I recieve an email from my fiance, I am going to throw my monitor through the window.
