Tribes Vengeance Ships

EBGames.com failed me again, for some reason they didn't list Tribes: Vengeance so it didn't even get a mention in The Week Ahead. Sway, Pyro and I had a great time with the new demo a couple days ago and I found the beta to be both exciting and rife with jet packing. Assuming they offer the dedicated server files to the public, the GWJ server will be hosting the retail version of the game as soon as possible. It's about time you people experience my uncanny spinfuser lead shots and amazing grappling skills.

The single player looks like it will be more fun than the previous two games too, bonus!

I'm in, but it will be a brutal decision between my beloved UT2K4 and Tribes. UT2K4 ONS has the huge map base and 3 new vehicles in the ECE. Tribes has the speed and critical team play factors. NOTE: My Tribes employee literally called every EB, Best Buy and Fry's in the immediate area looking for a copy.

I sucked so bad at it the few times I played during the beta, but it was fun. So it's out already, or soon?

What?! Already. No fair! How the heck am I supposed to afford all these games, let alone play them? Geeez! I am familiar with the cliche "feast or famine", but this is ridiculous. Not to mention, a feast is no fun when you can't afford to eat . . .

I missed tribes. A lot. Count me in for this one.

I sucked so bad at the beta, I think I'm avoiding all twitch games for now. Just maddening to watch my reaction time begin to equal that of a comatose turtle -- a reasonably dexterous one perhaps, but still one without any accuracy. No deft strokes for me I'm afraid in this game.

I liked Tribes 2 but found aspects of it overly complicated (keyb shortcuts etc.). Has this simplified the interface while retaining chance team play?

Rhymes with 'yidcaff'. I don't use smilies. Imagine a wink and a wry grin at the end of most of my sentences. I don't like using exclamation marks either. I'm more friendly than you imagine.

In short, yes.

Jetpacks are now the same button as jump, quick inventory makes getting items from the inventory prett easy, the packs are easier to use, they took out several unnecessarily complicated features and made the voice chat menu easy to navigate.

And they've some how improved Certis' smug sense of self satisfaction, which was believed to be almost impossible.
