Think of all the games you always wanted to finish but you just never got around to. Perhaps even think of the games you barely started before being swept away by something else. Now post a list!

Don't post ALL of the games like this, just the ones you still really want to play. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, check the main page!

I'll have my list up soon.

Crimson Skies - every time I try to sit down and play it I get swept up by some new game. It''s really infuriating like that.

Well, since I pride myself on the fact that I finish the games I start there aren''t a whole lot, but a couple do stand out,

XCOM - And I loved this game
I''ve never finished a single combat flight sim. I enjoy the genre, but just never seem to be able to finish them
Icewind Dale 2 - It''s still waiting for me and I still intend to finish, but I''m starting to doubt I''m going to make it back to the game.
System Shock 2 - Fun but, every time I start to get into it, it seems something else comes along and takes away my attention.

Age of Wonders II - An excellent game I keep meaning to return to.
Disciples II - I keep meaning to return to this one as well.
System Shock II - This one usually scares me so much that I stop playing for a while. I have to stop being such a weenie.
Freespace 2 - I need to finally finish the SP campaign.
Mideival: Total War - I still have games going here, yet am intimidated to finish them.
Warlords Battlecry II - An excellent game that I still have a ways to go in regards to conquering the entire map.
Divine Divinity - I eventually got pissed off at dying all the time, but I''ll get back to it.
Freedom Force - I love this game to death, but I keep getting pulled away from it.
Baldur''s Gate II - I just got this game two weeks ago, and yet I''ve barely scratched the surface.
Morrowind - I know there''s a story and an ending here, but I''ve yet to even crack it due to my quest to rise in rank in the local guilds.
Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin - A huge game that I''ve barely cracked.
Starships Unlimited Divided Galaxies - I love this game, but I keep getting pulled away from it.

I can blame ONE game overall for pulling me away from all of the above...Jumpgate. It is my addiction, it is my crack.

Warcraft III: I just found it becoming unfunny in the middle of the Night Elves campaign, never found the urge to start it up again.

MoH:AA: Was playing through this when I got my Xbox with Halo, never really got into _any_ PC-shooter after that.

well of recent games, Morwind... I just get so bogged down. WC3, I""m somewhere in the undead story line, I play it on my laptop but usually I only do that on vacations... and well no vacations for me . Older stuff? wow that could be a long list.

I know this sounds sorta dumb, but I dont really have any. I am a ridiculous completist, and usually obsess about stuff that I want to complete until it is done. So unless I am playing a game and my mouse arm gets cut off, I probably finish it (unless it sucks, but thats another story )

Morrowind - messed around. Spents countless hours with the spell maker. Lost interest and never finished.

Warcraft 3 - never played the orc or nightelf campaign. I was so busy experimenting with the editor.

Icewind Dale 2 - i keep trying to make the ultimate party or ultimate solo character. My furthest party is wandering in Fellwood.

Everquest - after all the years I spent playing, I never made it to the Planes. I have around 50 characters. The highest level I had was a 41 halfling Druid. I have at least 5 druids of level 15-16. I have probably made 10 Iksar Shamans and gotten them to level 15-20 and then deleted most of them to try something else. I had a troll Shammy to 19 and deleted him. My highest Shammy is a new Froglock at 28. I''ve made a few Magicians and Enchanters though none got higher than 14. The highest Ranger I''ve had is 21. I got several to 9 and one Halfling to 16 then deleted them. Ive made several Bards that got to 12 and were deleted. The highest was 24. The highest Warrior was an Iksar at level 20. The highest Monk was 16 with several at 12ish. I have a few Beastlords, mostly Iksar, highest is 18. My highest Paladin is 14 and I''ve made several to 10 and deleted. I got a Barbarian and Half Elf Rogue to 12 and deleted them. Wizards Ive never gotten past level 6. I got an Iksar Shadowknight to 12 and deleted him. I got a DE Shadowknight to 7 and deleted her. I had good success with several Iksar Necros. Highest is 20 and I have 3 others in the 15-18 range. Made a Dwarf Cleric and got him to 10.

I''m pretty good with that, I finish the games I buy (unless they suck) about 95% of the time.

The only one I can think of off the top of my head is Yuri''s Revenge.

Ok, here is my list:

Morrowind - With all the awesome mods out these days it''s only a matter of time before I fire it up and finally finish the damn game. I haven''t even cracked open the expansion yet!

Eternal Darkness - I took such a long period away from it I have no idea where I am or what''s going on. I''m going to have top start over.

Metroid Prime - See Eternal Darkness

System Shock 2 - I''m a giant wuss when it comes to games like this. I want to play but I always get too tense!

So far it looks like Morrowind may be a good game for us to do, plenty of folks haven''t done that one in yet.

That''s two people who didn''t finish SS2 because it scared them? Maybe you should try playing it during the day time.

It''s not the time of day that scares me, you ninny, it''s the amazingly freightening atmosphere the game creates. I could play SS2 in the middle of a bright, sunny LA day in the middle of a crowded freeway and I''d STILL be scared.

Age of Wonders 2 - Probably my favorite turn-based except for SMAC
System Shock II - Always stall halfway through
MythII - One of my favorite multiplayer games of all time, but never finished the singleplayer. (BTW - Does this still have an online community?)
Homeworld Cataclysm - Looks great, and I like it but get pulled away
Freedom Force - One of my recent favs, stalled about 3/4 through
Ground Control - I reinstalled it the other week, but after a system upgrade and reinstall, forgot to reinstall
Fallout 2 - Got into this one late get slightly through and then forgot about it
Sanitarium - My favorite adventure game but quit with two levels to go about three years ago.[/b]

They just released patches for Myth 2 and 3. The myth 2 big updater is out in May I believe. Tons of add ons.

I loved this game, can''t wait for the new patch.

EDIT: I loved the ending of Myth 2, but it was one of the first computer games I ever finished. I was soley on a Mac then, so I didn''t have much to choose from!

It had the best first 20-30 minutes of any FPS I''ve played. The rest? Shoot camera. Get ammo. Repair gun. Repeat.

I wanted to cheat my way to get to the part where you finally meet Dr. Polito. ( I was tired of the hunt for the keycard gameplay) Then I realized you could just double click the AVI in the directory =P

Hmm, I`m sort of guilty of not finishing System Shock2 as well. And I mean, I really feel guilty. I didnt quit it because of new game though, I think that it was more about that dark feeling game has. At the time I felt dark enough. Now I`m wishing to restart, but I have relocated to another country and left my copy to a friend. No big deal, though, I guess I could by the game for some ten bucks now.

Morrowind - this can be blamed on my Riva TNT2 and low RAM though. It kind of looses appeal if you cant afford to run it on max detail. Morrowind for me and Gothic2 for my wife are the main reasons to buy Xbox in not-so-distant future.

Divine Divinity it was clearly because of aa heap of other games to be tried. I kinda really liked the feeling of the game but havent reinstalled it yet. Keeping it like a last resort for rainy days or something.

Fallout2 Its ridiculous. I reached the final base but booby-traps very quickly became a burden and in anger i uninstalled the game not bothering to store save games in safe place.

But talking about Myth2- it is the only game which had enough in its demo to not bother to buy it. I remember fantastic nights at work where three of us were loging on the net to play multiplayer. I think there were only two multiplay maps in the demo and still, they were so simple and brilliant (King of the Hill, baby!) that we kept playing and replaying them forever.

The same was with Fallout Tactics - I LOVED demo and its multiplayer capacity, but they screwed it on the final release. (another one unfinished, actually. I stuck in the mission where youre transporting the nuke, my guess it was the final mission or at least one of the last ones).

[]Thief II - Great game, but I put it down towards the end and never returned.

Baldur''s Gate II - For some reason, the style of the first two areas really put me off. Everyone says this is one of the best RPGs though... so I feel guilty for not sticking with it longer.

Fallout 2 - Actaully, I''ve never played it. I loved the first and am looking for an excuse to buy it. ;)[/:u:83c647c136]

Freedom Force - just not enough time, but I swear, the next vacation I will see the finale

Hunter - too tough in single player.

Morrowind - Lack of time as well

Black & White - it is still on my hd. I play this whenever I feel the urge. I do not make much progress though . All in all its one funny pet simulator.

Oh yeah, add Baldur''s Gate I & II. I wish I could finish both, but again time is the crucial factor
