Here's something I'm looking forward to...

Ran dog slow on my PC, and when it wasn't running dog slow, I wished I had a gamepad.
Perfect!

*yawn* that was an utterly mediocre at best game. Some how I don''t think a platform change will help it out much.

Did Samurai Jack ever get back to the past?
I''m with mateo on this one... couldn''t run it on my PC, so hopefully I can get a rental out of it when it hits. Could be fun with the light cycles on Live.

I enjoyed this game quite a bit. Played it all the way through which is rare for me lately.
Then played it through again on a harder setting. I think it''s selling for $20 now.

All this science I don't understand. It's just my job five days a week.
Hey!!! No one puts down Tron, man!!!
Just kidding, I thought the game was good, not great, but good.
The multiplayer is getting redone by some other company, so that''s something to watch.
Really I''ve just been too lazy to change avatar.
I care nothing about Tron. I didn''t like the movies and I didn''t like the games.
Xbox can have Tron. I''ll play Metroid.

You keep playing it.
Not like there''s anything else coming out for that system.
Why do I admire videogames so much?
There's nothing else on earth that entwines art and science so closely.
Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime 2, BK, Tales, Metal Gear Solid TTS, Zelda, and things to be announced at E3.

I loved the single player game, but the MP lightcycles are quite boring. The killer strategy in the movie is to drive fast and cut people off, which is exciting to watch. Unfortunately, the killer strategy in MP is to drive as slowly as possible. Drive fast a little at first to block out some territory, then slow to a crawl and fill up your area while the other players zoom around and kill themselves. I did this in LAN play and after I won six or seven rounds in a row, everyone realized this was the best way to go, and the game became a giant snail race. Boring.
Standard MP is just deathmatch, which bores me as well. Did anyone ever play any of the CTF maps they added later? The patch required WindowsXP at first, and by the time they added Win98 compatibility I had uninstalled.

You enjoy waiting, Ulairi.
I''m just sitting here loving Ninja Gaiden.

That''s cool. I''ll be enjoying MGS: TTS on Tuesday.

Yeah after the last movie I''m really jealous.
Oh wait, there was a game on that disk somewhere, wasn''t there?

Can''t we all just get along?
Anyway, Tr0n was a decent game, I enjoyed it ridiculously because of the nostalgia for the old one. I was in heaven the first three levels of the lightcycles. I got pretty far, but I just got bored about two levels before the end...
Metal Gear Solid GC has me very non-excited. What''s the big deal? Same with Resident Evil. I''m also playing the first levels of Metroid and I''m not excited, I hope it gets better soon. What''s BK and Tales? So far I''m glad I got my GC for Fzero and Smash Brothers.

I''m a huge fan of MGS so I''m looking forward to it.

Two up coming RPG''s that look very good.

Stick with Metroid for awhile Mex. I found it took me a couple hours to get into the game but once I did, I was in heaven.
I rank it up there with Halo for most funnest game on a console this generation.

Just got up from a night of gaming. Thumbs not so sore this time... hmmmm..
Any ways, Ulaira started it. This was a upbeat thread about tron coming to the Xbox until Ulaira came in and started stinking up the place with negitive comments about the game AND the console.

No. I never brought up the console. I brought up another scifi game. I stunk up the game because the game stinks.

Let it go guys. We don''t do console penis waving around here and I have a very low tolerence for it.
Certis beat me to it. - Elysium
No it doesn''t ""stink""! It''s at worst a mediocre game, but nowhere near stink-quality, and since at least Ridlin and I clearly enjoyed it quite a bit, is it really necessary for you to mention games coming out for the Gamecube instead?
I know you love the GC but really, sounds like you want a flamewar.

Yeah, we certainly have enough of the other kinds of penis waving around here as it is...

Funny, you guys all said it stank, but it seems to be ranked quite highly by most reviewers. I liked what I could play of it on my PC, so that''s the basis I''m going on.
I don''t see anything as innovative, graphically, or as clever, out of Farcry, Call of Duty, or any other semi-derivative FPS games coming out on any platform, so I''m happy that I''ll have it on the ''Box.
