Cory Banks, Sean Sands, Julian Murdoch and I are all going to be at PAX this year! Sound off and let us know if you're coming!
WHEN: Saturday, September 4th starting at 6:00PM and going until 10PM.
WHERE: Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery - 1333 5th Avenue (Only a few blocks from PAX!)
We have a semi-private area set aside for us in the dining area of the restaurant. Kids are fine and LOTS of good food and beer/drinks to choose from. Reservation is under Gamers With Jobs. No minimum purchase and separate bills are totally cool.

Very nice! I will definitely try to be there. The only snag is that Saturday is the lone day that my 11 year old son will be attending. So if we opt for a pub, I'm gonna say no. Regardless, I know there will be other opportunities to meet over that weekend. But put me down as tentative.

Agreed. Elsewhere might be a good idea.
Plus, during PAXtime, all the pubs and restaurants nearby are crowded with various groups and large parties of geeks from various forums doing their own meetups, as well. They're even noisier than usual, and the waitresses are all juggling big-tops wanting separate tickets and it can really slow the service down. If we must do it at a restaurant/bar we may want to stand out as being awesome and also have the best experience, any kind of pre-planning to avoid being a hassle, long waits, and all that would be a good idea. Making reservations and bringing cash to pay for your part of the tab will make things much, much easier on everyone. Less individual tickets means less room for errors.
As a waitress, it's really annoying and time consuming when one big table has some odd 12-15 credit cards they want to pay out separate tabs with. It takes forever and then you're neglecting your other tables because you have to do them one at a time.

Once we're done the head count we'll be nailing down the location. The goal is to avoid a bar, maybe get a private space in a place that serves booze.

I'll for sure be there. I won't join in for the consumption of booze, as I haven't achieved level 21 yet, but AmDellMari will for sure. Since I'm the designated driver home, it should be cool.
More than likely I'll still be in my costume when we get together.

I'd love to be there, but it's likely I won't be able to. I'll be wearing a black Enforcer shirt, and I'll most likely be working the evening shift at PAX.
If I'm available, I'll be there, but until the shift schedule is out, I can't say for sure.
