Goodjer- Peron: sh*t was on the cartoon.
Peron- That's just nasty.

I've decided I don't like Steam keeping my credit card details on file. If I had to go hunt down the card and enter all the numbers maybe I wouldn't have just impulse bought so much, when I'm meant to be saving money for my wedding, Let's just not tell the missus

Argh. my only gripe is that since they got rid of the usual main page they also nixed the handy button for "specials" that would display only things that were on sale.

Yeah but... have you seen that Eidos pack? She'll understand, I'm sure. I'm just not confident my missus will. I mean, let's face reality: that tab isn't closing without our own wedding fund being a few bucks lighter.

$60 just doubled my Games list. That Eidos pack is pure Gold.
I'm not sure that it's "pure" gold.... maybe 20%? Still, Batman alone is worth $50.
*shrug* I intend to find out. At $2.50 a game how could I lose? Who knows what kind of fun surprise lurks for me in that pile of potential! Lots of horizon broadening titles in there for me!
EDIT: I just played Flora's Fruit Farm for about 40 minutes and was having fun. A neat little queuing efficiency test.
I bought a terrifying number of games and this is just the first day of the Sale! Though it was immensely satisfying to buy games like Assassin's Creed for 10 $ and Clear Sky for 5$. Dawn of Discovery for 25 $ after Bruce Geryk talk it up in the latest ep. of 3 Moves Ahead + my love for games like Caesar: III? Sold.
Argh damn you all for being filthy enablers. I caved & bought this...

There was some glitch in Steam forcing me to log out and back in, which cleared my shopping card. By the time, I logged back in, this offer had disappeared . Still, I'm guessing it will come back before this sale is over.

I have a cart full of games under $5... now just to choose which ones I actually think I might have a chance of playing.
I want to buy something simply because of the great deals; but I really don't need any more games that I won't actually play.
