While I'm psyched about the Indy and other adventure games, the Star Wars library leaves me wanting a little more.

Hm, the "nothing to do with a specific IP" thing is interesting. Maybe they're making a new point and click adventure game?

I'm wondering if it's just releasing their back catalogue somehow? Maybe making all the old games available through Steam, re-releasing them for consoles etc. If it's not a specific IP it sounds as though it has to be something along these lines, just not certain what.

No. Old school LucasArts is a PC game!
A pc collection of all their old classic adventure would be good enough for me. I missed out on a lot of those games and have only had the chance to play a few of them through emulation.

This has also kinda been bugging me, we claw and grasp for any tidbit of information leaked from anyone in the gaming industry, then whine because it's not worthy of an "announcement". Similar to the Starcraft 2 thread. Someone made a news post about some official bit of communication (forum, twitter, etc.), but it falls far short of a press release. So it shouldn't really be treated to the same standards of "is this interesting?"
