Behold and be awed! (New baby - name needed!)
After a good pregnancy and what turned out to be a grueling labour, the newest addition to the Hivemind is here!
Once again unnamed, our second son was born at 11pm July 1st, coming in at a welterweight 7lbs 12oz.
Here he is!

Now, here's the question: what do we name him? It's going to be X Graham Coldwell. The top contenders, in no particular order, are:
Douglas
Joseph
What do y'all think?*
*Note: results of this poll are non-binding. I like you guys and all, but...
EDIT: The votes are ignored! ![]()
EDIT2: *sigh* The wife is having second thoughts about the name (which I suppose are ok, what with no paperwork having been filled out...). Voting is reopened!

Congrats! He looks like a big boy.
Of the names you listed i like Miles best. Maybe Malcolm if you kept the X. (Malcolm X Graham Coldwell). I also like the sound of Mogg Graham Coldwell

I'm not sure how well Malcolm X Graham Coldwell will go over. HAR HAR.
Anyway, congratulations.
Edit: Is this what it means to be tannhausered?

New BABBY! I think his name should be Dan.
If not, I like Malcom next.

Dude, congratulations! He's a cutie. So can you come to the LAN party now? I keed, I keed.
As for names, I'm partial to Miles myself. I tried to come up with some hilariously witty alternative and I got nuthin'.
All the best my friend. Make sure to pass on my congrats to your wife as well.
EDIT: Hey yeah, Canada Day baby! Canada Coldwell, perfect and patriotic!

grats on the baby and on having three very respectable choices for names!
I'm partial to Douglas, myself, but all three of those are winners, you can't go wrong.
Sig
I think it should be Miles, but spelled Myles.
Congratulations!

Hey, he only has one head.
And you might as well not ask us, since the majority will probably lean towards Malcolm.

Why will his middle name be Graham? This comes from a man with a middle name of Graham whose parents have no idea why he has that middle name.

Cute, congrats!! I think Miles is a cool name.
Other suggestions: Change his second name to Grisham and give his first name as John. I think Michael goes with the two other names... along with Martin (his face looks like a Martin).
Alternatively you could just go the whole hog and do what some parents do and name him after a spoon or moon rocket or something.

Douglas Graham Coldwell; really, he just looks like a Doug. Now the only question is what he'll go by as he grows up - Doug, Douglas or Dougie?
Graham is after my wife's favourite uncle, who passed away a number of years ago.

He looks pretty unimpressed with being on camera already in that second picture.
Cute baby though

D'awwwww! What a cutie. Many many congrats.

If votes are re-opened, I'll go with Daniel because that name is awesome
. If it is between Douglas and Joseph, I'll go with Joseph. Dougie sounds a bit like doggy. So if you call after him "Dougie Dougie," come here, people may think you're saying "Doggy Doggy, come here." In the first few days it's ok to change the name. I was Max for a few days and now I'm not.
Congratulations.
If it's between those two choices, I'd go with Joseph. I like Malcolm too.
I've always loved the name Vincent. I also suggest Alexander, Lucas, Zack and Cecil.

I like Joseph better of the two, if those are the only choices.
Alexander is good for lots of different nicknames. Al, Alex, Sandro, and I hear the kids are using Zander now too.
Vincent is literary-sounding, and if he turns out to be a little sports fiend, he can be a Vince. And if he goes to law school, he can be V. Graham Coldwell.
Congratulations!

Joseph if restricted to the two.
If not, I suggest Conan. The of Cimmeria is optional but recommended.
