WoW: Favorite podcasts?
I was just wondering if you guys listen to WoW related podcasts and if so, which? Here are mine in no particular order.
Wow Insider - Usually has a good recap on the weeks events
The Instance - The comedy intros every week alone is worth subscribing for
The Rawrcast Show - Husband and wife duo chronicling their experiences in WoW. Totally NSFW by the way.
Twisted Nether - A little long-winded at times, but often has some nice interviews with bloggers exploring the personal side of WoW
Full disclosure. I have written this partly to enter in a contest and become eligible for a Razer mouse and keyboard prize. Insert plant accusations here.
"The light at the end of the tunnel is just the light of an oncoming train." - Robert Lowell
"Boy exchange is a fun pain in the ass." - LiquidMantis
Xbox Live - Trainwreck GWJ

I used to listen to The Instance, WoW Radio (when it was on), WoWinsider all the time. Plus a handful of others. Well i still occasionly will listen to the WoWinsider now since i'm not active again.
Personally it just got to be too much of nothing tbh. There was a lot of overlap and at times except for the funny bits they'd overlap. Especially when i was actively playing which was when i stopped listening. They really had nothing that was useful to offer.
Now BigRedKitty... i absolute LOVED his and cant wait for when he's able to start them up again. If EJ were to start one i'd probably listen to them as well.

Blue Plz! is good (from wowradio).
Twisted Nether is ok, depending on who they interview. Honorshammer was good.
The Instance is funny, but not particularly well-informed all the time.
WoWInsider is kinda weak, IMO, the audio levels from person to person are all over the map, the information beyond simple reporting of happenings is kinda weak, but if you want to know that somebody posted something somewhere, then it's alright. Turpster is really the main reason I listen. Kinda the same reason that Total Biscuit is the reason I listen to Blue Plz. Not because I agree with everything he says, but the way he says it. They're both fun and funny to listen to.
Ctrl-Alt-Wow is sometimes interesting, but they're bloody long.
Rawrcast is alright. Not particularly informative, but they're pretty up front about the fact that they're not really a news and information sort of podcast. If you like listening to them gab, it can be alright.
Miss the BRK casts. Those were pure gold.

It's not a game anymore, it's an umbrella. - Certis
Blue Plz! is the only one I make an effort to listen to. Very funny if you like the 'angry sarcastic rant' type of humour. The other shows on WoW Radio and The Instance are decent, but much lower priorities on my podcast list - I'll listen to them if I have time.

My top 2 are definatley Rawrcast and The Instance. Rawrcast has alot of guests and is a right laugh, whe the Instance is also funny and done to a high production standard.
I would agree that WoWInsider has sound issues and a delay on some of the audio which can confuse the hosts sometimes!
Others I fill my time with include Ctrl Alt Wow (long!), Bind on Equip (Awesome Aussies!) and Casually Hardcore (from WoW Radio).
Blue Plz is one of the very few non-npr podcasts I listen too. I'm a big ol' anglophile, and his cadence and language are quite similar to someone I just adored in my formative years, so it adds a bit of a giggle when Murlock just goes off on some ridiculous tangent rant. It makes me smile, even when he's being quite obviously insane.

I listen to the Instance on and off. The podcast is pretty funny but tends to be really lite on any real information about the game. I tried Wow Radio a while back but found it way to disjointed.

xbox live = breander
steamid = breander
I'd go with:
1.The Instance, Overall interesting take on the game from a more corporate perspective, very amusing.
2.Rawrcast, I need the occational F bomb, my appologies. Plus I raid and FEEL what they're talking about.
3.Inside Azeroth, I know it's not on the list but they Run a good show thats just improving weekly.
4.Wow Insider Show, Turpster is very funny and i'm on the road alot looking for new things to listen to.
Not sure if outlandish is still broadcasting but I loved those guys.
A second vote for Casually Hardcore , although sometimes I think they leave too much toward the hardcore and not the casual side of WOW. But that's OK, it's a fine line to try and balance on.
The Rawrcast Show
I'd like to second the Rawrcast show, since the duo is not afraid to tell it how it is, including all the fun language that goes along with that.
