YouTube Partners

I've had some measure of success with the gameplay video commentaries I've posted on YouTube. I'm getting enough views that I should qualify for the YouTube Partners program, which is a revenue share on advertising placed with videos. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with the program or any feedback at all on it. I've googled around a bit and found a few blog posts that were interesting, but I'm curious if anyone here has tried anything like this.

I don't have any experience with the Partners program, but could you link a YouTube review that you did?
Not reviews, commentaries for gameplay videos.
Here's a playlist:

The one I've got the most positive feedback on is:

Cool. Thanks for the links.
That's some high-quality stuff there.
Gonna watch tonight.
If you already had a decent viewership, watch it SKYROCKET now, with all goojers rushing in to check it out and whatnot

What exactly do you want to know? I assume you're looking for information not found in the FAQ. I work for a division of Demand Media and although video isn't my area, I might can find out some info if you have something more specific you'd like to find out.

Well, I was mostly curious if you were happy with the quality of the ads, if it opened up more uploading options (longer, higher quality videos). I have a legacy Director account, so I can currently upload long videos, but I was wondering what the limits are, if any. Also, friends who have AdSense on their blogs have mentioned getting... peculiar... ads assigned to them. Since there's even less contextual information in a video, really, I'm wondering how well the AdSense approach works.

Hmm, I'll see if I can get you some answers but I think a more personable, and perhaps better, option for your particular questions would be to reach out directly to some of the listed partners. Obviously, I'd focus on the ones that are more individual and less corporate. I suspect some of the smaller ones (less subscribers or less views) might be more likely to reply as well. As far as I know, there's a "send message" link on each profile.
My question to you is, "Why not?"

Didn't actually read it, but the title caught my eye.
