Just Another Snake Cult Roll Call
JASC's next play day is Wednesday 2/18 at 7pm PST (10pm EST). I'll be playing my Bear Shaman, Riksha. Add her to your friends list so you can see when I'm online and ask for invites.
This thread is to see who's planning on being part of the guild play day group and what kind of class spread we have. We're currently questing at around level 30 in Conarch Valley.
Unfortunately, you have to be online for me to send you a guild invite. This will require a little coordination. I'll be on at various times during the weekend so if you see me, send a tell. Otherwise, get online a little before 7pm and you can get an invite before we start questing.
Summary:
1. Try out a couple different classes server and see which one you might like to level with the guild group.
2. Post to this thread with your character class and name.
3. Level that character up to around 30 on the Tyranny server. Get to Conarch Valley and take what quests you find.
4. Add Riksha to your friends list
5. Meet us Wednesday 2/18 7pm PST in Conarch Village.
6. If you want, hop on the vent server in the Tyranny channel.

Remember that doing the night time quests can get you (level 10-12) there the quickest.

I'm taking it pretty slow to get a feel for the class and make the call if I want to stick with ToS for JASK's lifetime. When I have the figured out I'll power through the night stuff.
As I stated in the other post I rolled a Necro, again. Her name is Arovin (surprise!)

I figure with the triple head setup I can take some nice panoramic screen shots of the guild in action for the blog. So if I am slacking in combat it is probably because I am trying to get a good angle of the fight. That will probably keep me from grabbing agro.

I can use my Dark Templar (Glorigoth) if we do not have a tank show up on Monday. You probably will not need a tank Monday night.
If I am tanking it means less screen shots in combat

Is this a once a week thing? Just trying to see if I can fit it in. Since I only have one MMO I play now LOTRO (Life) and do not pay - you guys are tempting me...

Tried out a ToS and HoX. I might settle on the barb, I feel AoC's strength is in melee combat and that I'm missing out hitting one button for a spell.
Since we already have a Bear Shaman I'll probably pull out my Dark Templar, Mallor, tonight. Although that may not be the best tank class to bring, I could always roll up a Conq really quick, and I'm not sure if we really have any melee classes either. I'm totally shocked no one is rolling a HoX, If I didn't already have two I'd be playing one.

The servers are going down for emergency maintenance by the time they come back up I will be at work. After tonight's session just post the turn out and the class roster and I will pick a class to play that will balance with the rest of the group. I have the next few days off so I will have plenty of time to get caught up.
Trashi's gonna be playing his barbarian, I think. Between that and your DT, I think we'll be in good shape. Yeah, it's too bad no HoX, but things we'll probably shuffle around a bit in the first couple sessions.

Well, Mount & Blade completely ruined any chance of me playing for a bit. I was going to re-start and play again to fill the void, but the crystal meth-iness of M&B has snookered me completely. The game needs to come with a 12-step program.
Well, Cooking Mama didn't help me become a better cook, and Trauma Center certainly didn't help me become a better surgeon. I have the proof of both sitting in my freezer. -- imbiginjapan

How did it go last night? Inquiring minds want to know.
It was awesome! Not sure where my post went but I thought I replied to this thread in the morning. Ah well.
We were ridiculously effective as a team, we hit White Sands, rolled over some players, got rolled by some higher players, but it was never too annoying. I can see playing this casually (once/twice a week for a couple hours) for quite a while if we keep a healthy amount of us at the same level.
The best part of the night was luring in that one dude with the "Booby Trap". We were cracking up pretty hard on Vent. Also, watching Trashi stalk pretty much everything that moved, or that one Necro guy that kept side-strafing us with his bajillion pets out.

Edit: Oh yeah, we all got around 15'ish if you want to catch up Arovin. As long as we remain around the same level for Mon/Wed (and don't play them in the meantime) I think this will work out pretty good.
