Merry Christmas from GWJ
As I sit here in my hand-knit and super-awesome Jayne hat replica -- a treasured gift which I can only assure you looks terrific on me -- I want to take this opportunity to wish the GWJ community a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Prosperous New Years from all of us. You guys are the best part of working on this site throughout the year, and we are already looking forward to a terrific 2009.
We briefly considered sending out expensive and large gifts to everyone in the Goodjer Nation, but we realized that such tawdry displays of commercialism would seem hollow to our sophisticated audience, so instead we send out warm wishes to you and your family. While certainly less expensive and totally useless in any meaningful way, at least you know it comes from our hearts.
In all seriousness, though, Happy Holidays to all of our readers and visitors. Thanks for the fantastic gift of a great 2008!
