Maybe I'm an idiot but I'm not seeing an "Ironfist" as a possible choice for the Order server - maybe it's just not up currently ?
And geez, that's a looong queue to get into Volkmar, oh how I miss the early days of WoW, lol - oh well, I'll watch my Bengals get crushed while I wait.

Someone mentioned that Ironfist won't be open until Tuesday. From the other posts it looks like people are moving onto Iron Rock for Order.

Be careful of using alt-tab when running full screen mode, I just did and I ended up with a black screen. Looks like I'll be making that Order character on Iron Rock sooner than expected

Yep - found that in beta - if you're expecting to alt-tab a lot, switch to windowed beforehand; otherwise all sorts of black screens, messed up keyboard input etc can result.

We really do need to prune some of these threads however. Ranalin, what do we usually do - tell Certis which WAR threads to dispose of? Or does he just sweep in on a white horse and cut them down unmercifully?

I looked up that cinematic at work the other day when I really wanted to be home playing WAR. It certainly makes you fired up to play a Warrior Priest or Shadow Warrior.

I was hoping people would just post on the Catch All with that information. I know i changed my mind since that list has been posted and figured i wouldn't be the only one. I'll post everything this coming weekend. The official start will have been over for a couple days and we should have most the starters at that point.

I've never bought a collector's edition of any game (well except Vanguard, which I bought in July of this year for $9), but darn if I don't wish I had for this game. WAR wasn't even on my radar until a couple weeks ago; I just assumed it would be a lackluster WoW-clone in the same way I found DAoC to be a lackluster EQ-clone with imbalanced RvR tacked on. I am very impressed with what Mythic accomplished, and I generally don't even like pvp in most games. Somehow they've managed to make WAR's RvR feel more casual and more meaningful at the same time, at least to me. I am jonesing wanting to play the Witch Hunter I made to close out open beta... Can't wait for Tuesday.

Not sure on the time frame for SE, but the CE Headstart started opening servers around 12:00 PM EDT. Shouldn't be any later than that for SE since the servers are already up and running.

Got my lil' Gobby Shammy to 7.5 last night before I called it. Read every single line of text in the quests, every single Tome entry, etc - it feels good not to rush through it. Damn those Stuntys! They fits in barrels good..
I have to admit, it was weird going into one of the areas, seeinga bunch of Dwarfs (players) and realizing they couldn't attack me because I wasn't flagged, but soon enough the next area for questing it was guiding me towards was an open RvR field, so I can kinda see the direction it's going. Not totally open PvP but definitely not PvE.
I tried my Humie Witch Hunter for about 10 minutes before I couldn't stand it, I had to go back to the evil side! Those humans were too clean and nice.
Anyway, I can't wait till we assemble a massive army of Goodgers (and CP'ers) and just go to town on some unsuspecting fools. Healing in the Scenarios was a very good time, I wish I had a knockback at this level but that will come soon enough I'm sure.
