That sound you hear is me bashing my skull into the wall to get that damn theme song out of my head.

If it doesn't star Brian Anderson, I'm not interested.

Cool! This was one of the shows that I completely stopped down for when it came on. I remember being pissed off when they changed the main character's last name from Hinkley to Hanley so it wouldn't be associated with the nut job that tried to kill Reagan. Hopefully, it won't totally suck.

I did love this show as a kid, and I could see how it could become a pretty fun movie, but... I've been hurt before. Be gentle.

I loved this show as a kid, but I refuse to rewatch it on the grounds that most things I loved as a kid seem like utter crap in the cold, harsh light of adult-hood.

The frightening thing is, for some reason, in my memory the hero of this show was played by Richard Simmons.

Well played, cigar boy. Dugg for the thread title. Well I would have if, etc, etc, etc...
Truth. For proof I present the television show "Scooby Doo".

I will add to that Robin Williams painful interpretation of "Popeye" too!
Anyone else care to pile on?
I can't believe you didn't know about this 5 months ago. I got the theme song in and out of my head quickly, in other news the Science Ninja Team: Gatchaman movie is looking sweeeet!

Oooooh, Isis.
I can remember watching that show, when I was a kid, and thinking "Why do my pants feel like they're shrinking?"

Ahem... Battle of the Planets over here please. Or G-Force. Hmmm... neither of those use the word ninja. Science Ninjas? They don't look like Ninjas. They look like birds. What's that? A movie?

I'm glad this was someone else's first thought too. Although damn you for getting to it before me.
