The last game was played. The league has been advanced into the playoffs and the brackets generated. Good luck everyone.

Oh, and just so everyone knows there was a tie for the 8th playoff spot between baggachipz and Elliot. Elliot got the spot due to the head to head matchup.

I didn't post a link to the website, because I assumed everyone knew it. 2k takes care of this stuff for us. You go to online.2ksports.com and login with your Passport credentials and then go to the league. The matchups are there. Plus the matchups are also viewable from within the game.
As to why Ertic plays me and not Jayhawker, in spite of finishing 3rd in the regular season? Well, 2k isn't perfect, of course. It generates schedules haphazardly and I have no control over that.

I'll be home today from like 5:30 on PST. Otherwise I'm sometimes available in the afternoons, like after 7pm PST. Many days I'm out working out, with my personal trainer or otherwise getting exercise after work. In that case weekends typically are the easiest to schedule.

Elliot and I got our game in, and he spanked me 50-28. Great game, Elliot...Big Earl never got going, and I wasn't ever able to stop your offense. We were trading TDs for awhile, but you had one defensive stop where after a sack of Cunningham on 1st, you followed it up with two more! I think that was the end for me.

Well, he played good run defense and his offense was unstoppable by anything I did. Raymond Berry made Ronnie Lott look just plain stupid last night. He would catch the ball between Lott and Lester Hayes, and Lott would fall down trying to change direction to tackle him...not even when I was controlling him! He was a beast.
I really thought it was going to come down to the last possession, but in the 4th I ran a play that ended disastrously. I was looking to throw underneath to the left, but noticed that receiver was covered and one deep left was breaking open. Unfortunately, as I was watching this, I did a dumb thing and kept my thumb pulling the QB back, so that when I hit the button to pass, I didn't have my feet set and must have screwed up how long I held the button...I don't know, but I was sacked for a loss of 16 yards on first down.
I didn't get anything on 2nd, and that led to yet another sack on 3rd. Elliott did a nice job of bringing pressure that made it through my O-line. That led to a bad, bad punt, and he went up by 2 TDs.
On the ensuing kick off, I was sure it was going to bounce out. When it didn't, I tried to pick it up inside the 5, and the player juked out of bounds out of the endzone for a safety! Elliott than took the ball in for a late score.
He played a great game. While his record wasn't the best during the regular season, he beat Ruthless and was within 7 points of me. So, he learned from that last encounter!

I was by no means cutting on Elliot. I know he's tough. I'm just surprised. Our first playoff "upset". Congrats, Elliot.
Ertic, sorry we couldn't sync up. Actually what happened last night is that it's like 102 degrees here in Portland. So my wife and I called and audible and saw a movie to beat the heat, thus I didn't get home until 8:30. I will try to be on 8:30ish again tonight and then otherwise will have time this weekend.

I'll keep an eye out tonight. After you guys play I'll roll the playoffs forward (there's no flex in the playoffs, obviously). So that way if people are around and up for it we can get 1 or 2 more playoff games in.
