Hi folks

I am new to this group and thought I would just let you know if anyone has any back issues of PCG, CGW, or GFW I might be interested in trading or purchasing. The years I am most interested in are 1994-2001. But I will entertain all offers.

If you have some you want to unload or are looking to trade some just shoot me an email. at mcdonie1975@hotmail.com please use the subject "mag trade" so I know your email is not spam.

Thanks

I know it's cliche, but my mom really did throw away all my old computer gaming magazines. I had CGW, and every Next Generation starting with issue 1 that I got free. Damn moms don't understand value.

Do the magazines need to be in any particular kind of condition?

Would you be bothered by the fact that they may have served as bathroom reading (although never as toilet paper)?

"specific issues"

Frankly I have too many to trade and need to many to list here without using excel. lol

In general .....

(to trade)

All of 1995 for CGW
About 30 PCG from 2002-2006
About 30 EGM
About 30 Computer Games Mag
And about 15 CGW from 02-06

(wanted)
Frankly way too numerous to list, basicly if you have back issues of Pc Gamer, CGW, or even GFW then just email me and we can compare notes.

As for condition I am not too picky, I just want them to be readable and not falling apart.

sh*t. For a while ther I had CGWs from the mid 80's to when they started to suck so bad I couldn't bear to read it (around 2002 or so I think). Threw them out.

Oh man. I had every issue of PC Gamer ever and all CGW since early 1990 as well as other mags that have come and gone. I was up in the attic recently and realized how much space all these old magazines were taking up so I tossed them all. I'd have gladly given them to you although postage for those would have been hefty. Sorry...

Yep postage can be a little rough but its worth it to get some of those older issues. Issues from previous to 99 are gettting harder to find. Right now I have just about locked up everything from 99-06 and dont know where to begin to get the 95-98 stuff. And yes I did check Ebay and only two guys have any that old and both of em want like 20 bucks an issue.

I'm in the same boat, Swamp. Have to see if any boxes survived the purge.

Huh... might be worth looking around a bit. I think I have a whole stack of PCG magazines from about that time - I should have the demo CDs from those issues as well.

That's freaking great....about 20 months I tossed several hundred magazines (mid to late 80's through late 2006) as well as game boxes and manuals to over 350 pc games because I had to move, and I couldn't find anybody interested in getting them from me.

now I see that they suddenly fetch a nice price on ebay? WTH??

In other words - wish you had contacted me in late 2006
