Is it just me, or do sports broadcasters (or in the case of Don Imus, speaking of sports) seem more prone to these idiotic remarks?

While it's true that:
I do understand the comparison she was trying to make, but I'm sure she could a picked a much better, and not as obviously offensive way to do it. She knew she was stepping in it as she was saying it, at that point, just let it go.
She does get points for being much hotter than Imus, though.
