Time Capsule + Xbox 360

So, after recently investing in a Time Capsule wifi hard drive/router, I learned that they are incompatible with the Xbox Wireless Adapter. I have read that it's possible to use another router (I have a DLink DIR-615 that I'm not using) in receiver mode to act as a wireless bridge to the Xbox instead of the Wireless Adapter. Anyone here done this? It seems rather complicated.

My other alternative is to buy a Linksys Wireless Game Adapter & connect to the Xbox via ethernet. But if I can avoid spending the money on it, that would be my preference.

I use a Squeezebox 2 as a wireless bridge for that room, but that's a rather oddball solution that's probably not going to fly for you.

What you want is a router with 'client bridging' capability. The only surefire, relatively cheap method I know is to use a Linksys WRT54GL running the DD-WRT replacement firmware. I have done this, and it works very nicely.

Note that the GL is important: the regular G and GS are inferior. You can usually only get the GL online. Amazon sells it, among many others.

I cheated. Since my cable is at my TV anyway, I just put my AirPort there too. Hooked up the 360 with ethernet. Every desktop/laptop in the house is wireless so it made the most sense.

Well, I ended up just buying a Linksys Wireless N Gaming Adapter. It works brilliantly with the 360 & the Time Capsule, though it was kind of a pain to set up--the included software was useless.
