No downloadable content, no band customization, no on-line, no world tour mode... But why the heck not? I'm late to the whole rhythm game thing, don't have a "next-gen" system, figure it would be a fun thing with guests over. The instruments are supposedly compatible with PS3, so that'll just make it easier to justify getting one later on.

After playing the Xbox version and seeing the RIDICULOUS list of downloadable songs, it's not worth it. Better to save up for the 360 stuff.

edit: Wait, I didn't know the instruments were compatible with the PS3. DAMN! Back to square 1.

No DLC == No Sale. Why they can't issue supplemental songs that can be loaded to play, I don't understand.

Apparently there are going to be expansion packs for sale, just not downloadable

When they actually do it, then I'll think about it.

Harmonix has told Wired.com that Rock Band Track Pack Volume 1 is actually a standalone game that will not require the original Rock Band disc to run.

Weird. Still not interested.

Also, didn't they promise stand-alone instruments?
