WoW-BHA:Shaman Gearing Guide(s)
Hello.First let me state that I am not anything like an informed expert on this topic,but
I know several people in our guild would probably benefit from the information sources
that I know so here goes.
Recently www.wowinsider.com has published a gearing for
Karazhan guide under their "Totem Talk" section for shamen. A good guide for general
leveling/gearing choices can be found at www.wow-loot.com(This site is for all classes and
specs so you'll need to filter it by class.)
Also you may or may not be aware that your class has a forum at www.worldofwarcraft.com
under the fora section. If it's like my own class's section its probably full of bickering,arguing and qqqing but it will also have interesting topics,suggestions and helpful hints.And it will be a huge supply of potential informed help if you post there.(And garbage but that's life.you

This is a good heads-up, Dyrrian. I've been following Totem Talk for a while, and they are just getting into the meat of gearing up. I struggled through a couple of hours on the official forum... it's hard to pick the useful knowledge out from the crap.

A side note, not sure if it's extremely helpful or not, but there's a great thread over on elitist jerks with some detail on comparing equipment for enh shammies. It's primarily focused on raiding, and mainly post-Kara, but it can help to give some general ideas. I've been using it (even though my shammy is only 62), and it's really helped me get a better understanding of where enh shammy dps comes from.
