Ticket price: 20 silver coins each. No limit on purchase

How to buy a ticket: send an in-game letter through the postal system with your character name, forum name, number of tickets you're buying and total amount attached, and attach the money. Address the message to Dolzer
The Drawing: I'll hold the drawing at the specified time in our guild city

The long details: Howdy folks! Since our founding 3 weeks ago I've been talking about ways for the guild to support its players, especially in aquiring the hard to get horse mounts. By level 40, most of us have 50-60 silver coins to our names, less for those of us who have donated to put up our beautiful keep and trade post.

For 20 silver each, you'll buy a chance at winning 3 gold pieces, which covers the cost of the riding skill and the horse itself. We'll give away as many horses as possible, so essentially the prize pool divided by 3 and probably one final drawing to give away the remainder.

If the raffle is very successful I'd like to pull 2 gold out of the raffle to fund the next building for our guild city. I'll say if we raise more than 10 gold I'll do that. Otherwise all prize money will go to raffle winners.

I've donated 60 silver pieces to get things rolling and no, I will not be eligible to win

There are really no eligibility requirements except that you be a GWJ forum member and Legion of the Broken Oar member. Any level character may buy tickets. It'll be nice for your level 10 char to know that pesky mount problem is already taken care of If you have a mount already and are just feeling generous, you may of course donate money to the pot without buying tickets if you choose. Please be very specific about that in your in game letter so it is easier for me to track.

Again, your in game letter to Dolzer should include your character's name, GWJ forum name, amount of coin attached and how many tickets you are buying. This will make it easy to track all this.

One last disclaimer: Conan is still rough around the edges. I have tested sending coin through the in game mail and so far the tests have been successful. I'm confident enough in its stability to try this. If we lose any money through the system we'll just have to petition for its return.
