WoW BHA Raids: Jun 3, 5, 6, 8 & 9
Hey All,
Below are the raids that I was able to schedule based on people's availability and preferences. Granted, some people did not get the raids they wanted, but there is a little of everything going on. We have close to enough for a 25man on the Sunday, which 25 is still to be determined. There's also a ZA and hopefully a later start Kara will go forward (I have most of the raid listed). Please let me know of any issues or problems, so I can find a suitable replacement ahead of time.

SSC Bay-Bee! We just need 1 more person, but let's face it; we cut Hydross pretty bloody close last time, so the stronger dps, healers and tanks will get the spots on this one. I'm planning for us to finish off Hydross again (don't let the shiny gear we made go to waste), Lurker for a little revenge, and onto another boss, likely Tidewalker. We have 24 people signed up which includes 3 Tanks, 6 Healers and 15 Dps. So really, if it comes down to the wire, we'll be able to bring in a couple of the people that are undergeared

Thurgarn and Alaysha can both make Sunday and Tuesday for any 25-man action we can get going.
Otherwise, I'm unavailable Monday night, and would prefer to stick to two raids next week rather than three (trying to take it easy for a couple weeks due to general stress
). If there are fewer than two 25-person raids that happen, I would happily run 10-person raid(s) in their place (either Kara or ZA, both are fun, would especially love to push ZA content since we have yet to conquer that fully). If that were to happen, I could be available Wednesday and/or Thursday evening in place of Sunday/Tuesday.
We expect to be out of town Friday and Saturday night next week though.
On weeknights, we're good for anytime between 7pm and 11pm, and can push slightly forward or backward if absolutely necessary.
I can be there on Sunday June 8th. Other than that, work and real life preclude me from being able to commit to a given day.

I don't know if I'm geared for the 25s, but put me down for possible post-start sub-in. I'm tankadin spec, and don't have the gear to heal, but I'd be more than happy to sit in the back and spam heals and cleanses or keep SoL up on the bosses or whatever. Basically, if you need a less-geared OT, an extra extra healer, or just a warm body.
For 10-mans, I'd love to get back into Kara, but again, I don't start playing until after 8:30p Central, so post-start sub-in or late-start.

Honestly Ducki, for that last one or two people, we've mainly just needed warm bodies that can do something to contribute to the group effort.
Copingsaw is available for Tuesday and Sunday.
Which I'm fine with, I just wanted to make it clear, I've only been in Kara 1 time, only got 1 piece of Kara loot, haven't done heroics, etc.
I'm uncrittable and not quite uncrushable with HS up - but once I do some Coilfang instances with DuckiDeva, I should be much closer with the revered necklace.
So I can definitely trash tank and ***maybe*** off-tank. And I can definitely be a warm body.
Just wanted to make sure noone thought I was capable of MT in the 25 mans. I'm probably not. Yet.

Cinster can be around on Saturday or Sunday. I can also show up around 8:30 server time on weekdays but I know this is too late for most folks. I recommend you all just move to California to solve the time zone problem

Kam's game for whatever I can tank, which should include Kara and Gruul/Mag. Not sure what the minimums would be for ZA or SSC (I'm close to 14k/13k health/armor at the moment). Haven't done much with regards to resist sets for SSC yet though, as I still need a couple more basic pieces so I can guarantee crit-immune when I swap out anyway.
For availability, I can usually be on-line by 7:45 at the latest for raids, maybe 7:30 with advance planning. I'm game to go pretty late though. This week I should be good for any two of Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon. I could possibly try to arrange earlier in the day on Sat/Sun if I know by Wed or Thurs about it, and I'll see what the possibilities might be when I get home.
The good news for me is I will probably be freeing up a bit for the summer at this point, as my every-week Tuesday commitment is turning into every-other-week for the summer, and two of the kids are ending their sporting commitments. Admittedly, a third is starting, but one is still less than two...

Smithysaboo is available Tuesday the 3rd and Sunday the 8th to tank. I would do any of the 25 man or 10 mans. I do have the frost resist set and would really like to use it in SSC.
I went into ZA for the first time last week and would like to see it again and found out why I kept dying on the third boss. (Apparently he hits with crushing blows 10-11% of the time and his attacks are 50% faster and do 50% more damage after his enrage. I kept getting back to back crushing blow for 6-7 k each during enrage). Hopefully next time will go better.

Actually, the standard for all bosses is 15% crushing blows unless otherwise stated (in ZA, both Nalorakk and Halazzi do not do crushing blows). Last Stand or Shield is best popped right when he enrages until all three healers are focusing on you for the rest of the fight.

I was refering to Jan'Alai, he apparently does a thrash type attack that can have two quick crushing blows. I'll be ready for the next time in there. It's my fault for not knowing this beforehand but as this wasn't a scheduled raid for me I hadn't done any research on it.

Your original post missed this the first go round. I haven't able to find anywhere where it states he thrashes, are you sure it was a parried attack?

'Ivan is swapping spec's now for 25-man content. I am presently BM for any 10-man/Fun and Destruction Spec..but will swap over to Survival if we do schedule any 25-mans.

Yeah, he's surprised the healers on Zel a couple of times too.
It's one of the big advantages to tanking in plate -- you can get yourself to uncrushable status, so even though you don't have as many hit points, you don't surprise the healers. I think it takes a ton of defense to get there, though.
I read that about Thrash attack on wowhead (it was in the comments section though and may have just been someones speculation). It may well have been he just parried my attacks. It seemed to happen around the same time in the fight though so I'm not sure. Next time I will try and different sword, one with more HR and expertise.

Knightly (arms warrior) & Schnuggles are available for 25 man raids prefer SSC & ZA, we are very interested in ZA. Knightly also needs Kara, Schnuggles does NOT want to run Kara. Available between 7pm-10pm, no back to back nights, 2 nights max for Schnuggles, 3 for Knightly if that includes Kara.
Oh, and if anyone wants to run heroic SL, pls let me know.
