AoC - Official Deathwhisper Guild City and Donations
So we've booked our Guild City location and we are just about to build the keep. I'll post pictures as soon as we get it up.
However, the purpose of this thread is to deal with gathering all the materials needed for making the city. We've already had a couple donations from some people, and we are working on figuring out a way to deal with not really having a guild bank. (I'll probably make a toon that will be camped out at the city to accept donations.)
There are a lot of buildings that need to be built, so we will gladly be accepting any donations that people wish to give. This is purely on a voluntary basis. You do not have to give anything, we won't hunt you down and spawn camp you until you donate.
But seriously, any help you can give would be awesome. We are still working out how to handle gathering the donations, but currently you can give them to me (Tkyl) or Wired.

Resources Needed for next building:
Temple:
2g
50 Sandstone
Do not disturb the Witch. Do not approach the Witch. Do not fire at the Witch. Do not point your flashlight at the Witch. Do not even look at the Witch, even with your flashlight off, even from a distance, ever.

I don't think we need a list of who donated what, just an eager sense of everyone helping out the best they can. It will be nice once the economy kicks in and we can start tossing some coin around, that's for sure.

Not that I'm super involved on the PVP side of things, but I'd avoid singling people out one way or another. I'm sure everyone will pitch in.

After spending some more time with my PvP ToS Geochumare, I think I may be making him my main. Deathwhisper's not as frustrating as I thought it would be.
I'm only at level 18 but one I get some money / mats I'll throw in some for the keep.

hey i heard building some buildings is bugged. the guild i am in is almost ready to build our keep but wont until they fix the issue with failing to build a building then all mats and plans are gone from inventory.
Grats on the keep. it looks nice.
Ok, thats cool. We'll leave the donations list as anonymous. A big thank you to all who donated to make the Keep possible. Now we need to start working on the other buildings. On the resource side, they are fairly light, but we still need 2g for each building

Ok here is the order in which we have to build our buildings.
We will save the walls and gates etc for the end as they just seem cash sinks and no gains.
Keep > Trade Post > Temple > Library > Barracks > Thieve's Guild > Weaponsmith > Armorsmith > Alchemist > Architect > Walls and gates and crap.
Next up is the Trade Post.
15 Joist + 20 Brick + 5 Facade + 10 Brace + 1 Building Plan
2 Gold for the Building Plan
150 Ash for the Joists
200 Sandstone for the Brick
50 Silver for the Facade
100 Copper for the Brace

I updated the main post with this info as well. I'll try to keep it up-to-date with the our current resource needs for each building.

I saw three buildings with those names to the southwest of our hall last night. What were they?

What are the benefits for these buildings? Thanks!

Currently, nothing. However, the benefits will eventually be...
Trade Post -> I believe it will house the guild bank, as well as give us our own Trader to access the markets.
Temple -> Some boost for Priest types
Library -> I have no clue.... Increases Literacy! All L337 speak in guild chat is immediately converted to normal English. (Actually I think its a boost to Mage types.)
Barracks -> Boost for Soldiers
Thieve's Guild -> Boost for Rogues
Weaponsmith -> Better Crafting Recipes for Weaponsmith's
Armorsmith -> As above, but Armorsmiths
Alchemist -> As above but Alchemists
Architect -> As above but Architects
Do not disturb the Witch. Do not approach the Witch. Do not fire at the Witch. Do not point your flashlight at the Witch. Do not even look at the Witch, even with your flashlight off, even from a distance, ever.
There are small markers that tell us where we can build that building etc.
Also to the South East of us there is a guild city them built allready.

Speaking of the guild city... is there an easier way to get back to civilization without having to run for 15 minutes? I figured after I teleported there to check it out I'd be able to teleport back... nope, had to run. Did I miss something?

I use my path of Asura. Similar to the WoW hearthstone.

Well, to get there you can talk to any of the people that take you to the Resource zones. They also have an option to take you to your Guild City. So no matter if you talk to the one by the Purple Lotus Swamp, or the one by Poitain, it will take you to our Guild City. In terms of getting back... Path of Asura? Thats all I got for now.

Personally I don't see why they can't have a stagecoach to take us to either the Purple Lotus Swamp or Poitain right outside of the city gate location. It's how we got there, why make us run?

I've got quite a bit of resources I've gathered over the last few days to pass off to someone. I've got gads of copper, silver, cotton, and sandstone.
Seeing how I went alchemist and gemcutter, I'm not sure I'm going to need much of those, especially since my stuff I need to make things drops from mobs.

Find a trader and dump them into the guild bank. Or just whisper gently into Tkyl's ear

Tra-der? Honestly, I haven't even seen one yet. I guess I'll go gallivanting around and look for one in Old Tarantia

I hate how same items don't automatically stack on top of one another when someone deposits them in the bank. But just so the officers know, they should prepare for numerous stacks of 1-5 items.

I will fix this tonight.

Hey all by my last count we were about 60 silver shy.
Lets get this second building done tonight, we cant let the PVE guys catch up.

Updated main post to reflect this.
Sorry about not keeping this as up-to-date as I should. My character tends not to be near a trader for long periods of time, and as such I don't get to check these bank as often as I'd like.

I will deposit some silver in the bank tonight.
I'll also chip in with my assassin's money. My dark templar alt is quickly becoming my main...
I'm in this for the guild, so tonight you'll be getting everything I've got (which isn't much, unfortunately - I'm only Level 23). It should put us a few silvers closer, though...

Five more silver from everyone should be more than enough.
