A friend of mine introduced me to this awesome site. What it does is you type in your favorite artist and it creates some sort of algorithm that find other songs and artists similar to your favorite artist.
You then either give it a thumbs up or down and it will adjust accordingly. It is a great and addictive site to maybe find new music out there.
Enjoy!

As much as I love Pandora (I listen to it probably every day), why do I feel like this email is spam? Sorry if it isn't, but still...
Also, if you like Pandora, try OpenPandora!
Haha it does sound like spam. Just click the link. I promise it's not for male enhancement.

I listen to it quite a bit. My only complaint is that it gets pretty repetitive... it tends to play the same songs over and over, especially if you say you like a particular song. While I don't mind listening to a song I like a lot, I do wish there would be a bit more variety.
You can change the artist seeds to mix it up a bit, but I've found a stream where I like 95% of the stuff played, I just wish there was more of it.
I'm in the same boat as Koz. I feel that you do get the same stuff coming up quite a bit. However, I have found some great new artists, and always keep coming back. It is nice to be able to just select a type of music i'm into without having to deal with the crappy job I have done at categorizing my music in itunes via genre tags.

What the hell?!? Since when has Pandora been US only? GodDAMN I hate location-based browsing. What the hell is the point of the bloody Internet if you can't connect to things? BLARGH!!!

Depending on how scrupulous (?) you're feeling, you only have to say you're in the US... Someone I... err... know in the UK has an account with a fake zip code plugged in there and it works just fine.

No, they block on your IP address. That he can use it in the UK is likely related to it actually being available there until earlier this year.
Computers don't make errors. What they do, they do on purpose. By now your name and particulars have been fed into every laptop, desktop, mainframe and supermarket scanner that collectively make up the global information conspiracy.

I am scrupulousless when it comes to this sh*t. I'm happy to proxy it, or spoof it, or fake it however I need to as long as I gets me my stuff.
On a totally unrelated note, anybody got any thoughts as to how I might go about tricking a website/service about where I am or what my IP is?
