Ted Kennedy really grinds my gears.

First he goes and has what is thought to be a stroke, damn it man I dislike you, but I aint going to make fun of you for a stroke. Then it turns out to be a seizure fo some sort that was confused to be a stroke, and damnit that's damn near a joke that writes itself... then it turns out to be malignant brain cancer, and I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy....
So even though I disagree with damn nearly every words that tumbles out of his mouth, I hope the treatment is sucessful.
Good Luck Sen. Kennedy, get better (so we conservatives can get back to hating you)!
editted the title.

What happens to his superdelegate vote if he passes before the convention?

Yeah, he's old school bipartisan, despite his clear positions on the left. I think he's often been a target not because he's terribly radical, but because he's been successful so many times at getting legislation passed. Here's hoping he pulls through (but realistically, 50-50 he lives to see the inauguration.) Quite sad.
Extremism in the defense of liberty *is* a vice. It has been since the first Crown Loyalist was tarred, feathered and set afire, and it's no better now. It corrupts first the individual, then ultimately the institution it defends.
I could see it turning out like an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Everyone is gathered together in Hyannisport to visit Ted, and there's Hillary in the room knowing that propriety says she can't ask about that. But she . . . just . . . can't . . . help herself.
Hmm, I'm getting more of Gonzales-and-Card-showing-up-at-Ashcroft's-hospital-bed-to-pressure-him-to-OK-warrantless-wiretaps vibe.
Agree wholeheartedly - can't stand Ted Kennedy...despise the guy as a politician and a person...but he's old school - the uber-democrat, but friends on all spectrums.
Hope he gets well - just no heart to wish ill on him.
Unless you're running out of mana overhealing is the most worthless stat in the game. Underhealing is effectively known as "wiping".
so sayeth the Bear...
Given his age, I'd say its very remote. My father had a brain cancer, thankfully benign, and it just about killed him and he was a fit 52. The major issue isn't the cancer itself, which is treatable, its the very high chance of meningitis, post operation, that makes its so fatal. From what I understand, the opening of the skull increases the chance of bacterial meningitis and that combined with the cancer is a lot for a body to take. The surgeon told me that 1 in 3 people survive.

Well, I'm glad your Dad beat the odds, anyway.
