Another Joss Whedon show to get addicted to before it gets canceled. I may be biased (Being a Buffy/Angel/Firefly fan), but this trailer rocks.

After Firefly, I just have to ask:
WHAT THE HELL IS THIS DOING ON FOX?
Sorry for the caps, won't happen again. Seriously, I watched Firefly during it's TV run so I lived through how Fox killed it without mercy. Why would Whedon do that again?
As for the show, at this point the man could remake Pluto Nash and I'd watch it. Very excited.

I don't know for sure that this is true, but I'd read (someplace) that Whedon wanted Eliza Dushku for the lead role and that she's still under contract with Fox. Basically, he couldn't have one without the other. I guess time will tell if it was worth the Fox gamble.
In any case, I'm looking forward to it for as long as it lasts.

I'm super excited for this. Also from what I understand, the leadership at FUX is different now than when they axed Firefly, so there's hope...
So what's the over/under on Fox showing more than 12 episodes in order?

In*sigh*deed, my friend, that is Mrs. Rosemary Cross. In*sigh*deed.
The Gawker-sci-fi-oriented blog, i09 has been following this pretty religiously. They had an interesting leak about the "sides" which were being used in casting -- the script pages written to catch the tone and feel of the characters and stories.

Damn, that looks hot. We have to wait until next January!?
According to the wiki entry, they're slated for at least an initial 7 episodes, but 12 might be iffy. Hopefully its sextacularness will save it from the abyss.

I've had my eye on this for a while now. I'm a bit worried that it's going to play a bit like Dark Angel, but Whedon should be able to pull it out of the bag.

I heard something about this A while back, and am glad to see it moving forward. It will for sure be added to my DVR.

It looks interesting enough to watch the 8 or 10 episodes that Fox will allow us to watch.....I hope they show them in the intended order this time...

In anybody else's hands I would be very worried about this show, but with Joss Whedon at the helm. Oh my god! I can't wait.
I was looking around at some other links and apparently FOX will also be testing something new with this and another show called Fringe. There will only be a grand total of 5 minutes of commercial time in every episode which is way less than it normally is now. They hope that limiting the time will attract more viewers and I would imagine the benefit for them would be they could drive up the price for the slots if the viewer ship is there.
