WoW BHA: Ventrilo Request
Hey guys, I know it's not actually WoW-related, but I know we have a fairly good selection of channels on the vent server for WoW, and often there's at least one free to be used. My buddies that I play private Civ games with (Fyedaddy, who is a member of GWJ, and a trusted friend of ours who's a lurker) and I need a spot for voicechat, since XFire has been horribly uncooperative lately.
We only do Civ once a week (both for gaming and to catch up with each other's personal lives), and I don't have admin rights on the Vent server to make a different channel, so would it be too troublesome for me to borrow one of the BHA channels for Civ night tonight, and then see if someone could grant me admin/power-user rights in the future to make a Vent channel if needed when XFire pukes out on us? 
Isn't there a CiV4 channel? There used to be at least.

Yeah, saw the Ventrilo thread, but I haven't seen TheWalt post in ages, and knew we have some admins here, so that's why I posted here under the BHA banner.
Is the Civ4 channel password-protected to keep out the buffoons that drove us to do that with our WoW channels? And if so, what's the password?
Dont' believe there is one, and if the past month is an indication the odds of you being bothered are slim.

Ah, good to hear Ranalin. I think that'll take care of what I need perfectly fine then.
Just as a check I loaded up Vent, found the Civ 4 channel and entered it. There wasn't a PW as far as I could tell, so you and your friends should be all set.
