WoW: BHA - Back in the Fall :)

Like the kid looking out the window at all the kids having fun outside, it's hard to watch and not agonize a little bit at not being involved. Shuttering that window and heading to a new park might keep me sane (if that's possible).

So, my friends, I have decided the prudent thing at this point was to have cancelled my WoW account (for now). The urge to try to squeeze into some of the 25-man raids has been very strong, but recent successes has made this an easier decision. As Copingsaw pointed out in a recent post, you have a solid crew going now that you all hope to keep together so having me try to pop in and out this summer when Val's on the road or busy won't mesh well with team chemistry.

It will also remove any lingering doubt about how DKP will effect my casual, less active schedule. By October, when you have BT & the Sunwell on Farm, Jut, Cope, and Aoundrea should all be max geared out, so I can always sneak in then and see these places while still getting the "gear fix" we all enjoy. Hopefully, all the new clothie healers I hear coming up or as alts (Nuke, for example) will have all there gear as well, or maybe not be as DKP heavy with alts. At worst, I will see all the content and be ready for the push from 70 to 80.

At any rate, I'll miss everyone (at least, those who I don't catch in other games) and am going to look forward to catch up and seeing all the content I missed later in the year. As always, I'll be rooting you all on in spirit and looking forward to coming back to tales of how we owned all the 25-man content and are just playing for fun while waiting for the expansion pack.

Ahh, I will miss you darlin. Don't be a total stranger, you have my vent info and you know you can yell at any of those guys to get me.

Hugs for Val and a kiss to Shay.

Messeges will be passed! And you can bet I'll want to keep tabs on your progress, too, on something more interesting and vital than how far 'lique has made it through T5/T6 content.

I'm out on Vent quite a bit, still, and on-line often enough. If WoW had more to offer than raiding at times I can't make (except Sundays, which with rotation, I'd be doing once every two weeks), I'd still be subscribed. As it is, paying a monthly fee for a game I'll be only able to play twice a month just seemed silly.

The summer will probably flow by entirely too quickly and, soon, I'll be back to annoy people who wish I had died instead of unsubcribed.
