[Disclaimer - Sorry if this qualifies as a "I quit!" post, but I felt it only right to let people know what happened.]

When I started playing WoW, it was under the agreement that if my wife ever felt I was getting too engrossed in the game, then I would leave, permanently. It's come down to that. Crystal has been unhappy with my amount of logged time in WoW for a while now. There have been problems between us because of it. I can't completely argue it with her, as I know I've been neglecting things for WoW. And the first step to fixing a situation is admitting there's a problem.

Tonight I did something a bit drastic. Veloreyn is, at the moment, the only character that still exists on the account. While I had every intention of deleting her as well (I consolidated my characters and pooled the gold on Vel before their deletion), I couldn't bring myself to do it. Not because I feel I'll come back to her, but because of the potential she has before the account expires.

About a week ago I acquired the pattern for Spellstrike Pants on Vel. She also has a few other somewhat rare recipes. The account is still active for about a week or so (I think it freezes on the 15th), and all she needs is 20 spellcloth to make two pairs of the pants. She's currently holding 10 Primal Mights and 2 Primal Nethers (Pants need 10 Spellcloth, 5 Mights, and 1 Nether each). Aprilyn expressed interest in getting a pair from me, and while I tried to make some before logging off tonight, there was only one auction of spellcloth on the AH. She also has 12 badges, which with 3 more, would net the guild a free nether vortex if someone would be so inclined to run her through something for the quick badges (I did not sell her currently equipped gear, so she's still able to run heroics, provided some consumables).

There are also 5 Arcanoweave robes on her, for anyone that's interested.

I'm sorry to leave, but it's just the way it's gotta be. If I don't stick to my word, my wife won't have any reason to trust what I tell her. After submitting this post, I will be providing my account details to Reap, as for the next week the guild can use Vel's crafting abilities to it's advantage. There are some herbs in her bank still, she's potion spec'd for alchemy, and spellfire spec'd for Tailoring. There are no abilities (spellcloth, transmutes, etc) on cooldown.

It's been a blast. I sent gold to a few people, and tossed most of the remainder in the guild bank. Goodbye guys.
