Well, no one ever told me, thanks Comcast! While browsing the AoC forums trying to figure out what class i want to be in the new MMO, i came across this gem. Go to http://gameinvasion.comcast.net/gameinvasion/setup/ and click on the link to activate your founder's club membership. Login with your comcast account, and viola. Free. Now all those exclusive Founder's club goodies are mine, MINE! ahahhahhahhh.

I'd totally go for that... except that I hate comcast, and resent them for their lies and treachery. I'm just counting the days until fios is available so I can cancel my service with them.

Thank you sir! I have had Comcast 8Mb for years and have never heard of this partnership/deal-io. The fileplanet and ign access is great to have.
Don't get me wrong, i hate em too, overcharging blah de blahs. But i'm stuck with them, for now... And this is free!

Hack your modem? Go ahead say the Cox representatives into my tape recorder. Then they try to charge theft of service and viola, tapes for proof that according to Cox employees it was not theft of service. Can't do that anymore, but the glory days were fun.
