I bought Panic at the Disco's "Pretty. Odd." off of Itunes last week and it hasn't left my CD player since. It's an incredible album. They changed their sound entirely and I can't get enough of it. The last time an album got this much time in my CD player was last year when As Cities Burn's "Come Now Sleep" came out.
This got me wondering. You all (well, most of you
) seem to have good taste, what album are you constantly coming back to? What music would you recommend I pick up?

I just got Arcade Fire's latest, Neon Bible, and have been listening to it non-stop. Editors' release from this summer, An End Has A Start, gets a lot of play too.

Hot Chip - Made In The Dark
Amazing stuff.

Shake A Fist
One Pure Thought
Out At The Pictures (music starts at 3:00)
I've been meaning to check out Arcade Fire's stuff for a while now, I'll give it a listen.
Another one I've been enjoying is Thrice's "Alchemy Index". It's an awesome album.
Edit: Posted before getting to listen to Hot Chip
It's interesting. A little much for me (I'm the bass blaring type), but some of there more quit stuff is pretty good.
"We prefer to be called the swarm of his dark lord, the thief in the night Boogle." - Boogle
Cursed - III: Architects of Troubled Sleep
Brutal. Totally not fitting in with the others listed so far.

I picked up the new In Flames album on iTunes this week, A Sense of Purpose. Pretty good, though if you're one of those ones who thinks In Flames has "sold out" you probably will still be unhappy with this one.
Xbox Live Gamertag : Barab
EVE: Hannibal Dax
Akron/Family - Love is Simple
Xbox Live: hubbinsd
I'm really liking Arcade Fire. It's got this folk charm to it.
I used to listen to a lot of Hardcore music. Not bad. Reminds me a little of Norma Jean.
If you like them you'd probably like A Plea for Purging, I saw them live twice, they can freaking shred. You can find their stuff on myspace.

I just picked up Flogging Molly's - Float. It is amazing.
Also, I have been listening to Clutch's Blast Tyrant. Not a new album by any means but it is pure awesome and great to run to.
"Uranus is positioned for summer surprises." - from Tarot.com's mailing list
Xbox Live Gamertag - Yoreel
I have no idea what anyone is saying, but it's very catchy. Seems like a pretty smooth stuff to play AudioSurf with.
Awesome.
This is interesting. I like a lot of this stuff. Keep it coming.
Just to throw a weird band out their: mewithoutYou's "Brother, Sister". Their Vocalist/lyricist is a genius. The music is catchy and beside that they put on an incredible show.

I guess I went the opposite direction, I used to love hardcore/metal stuff and I slowly fell in love with Indie stuff.

Bumblefoot - Normal
I am kicking myself for not checking this guy out sooner.

Accelerate by REM, very good album, and some album I forget the name of, by Harvey Danger.

The rantings of the Lord of Leisure. Enjoy!!
It's rare to find someone how has heard of them that actually likes them. I got the album 2 weeks early and I promise it was the main album I listened to for a year. Amazing stuff.
I will admit, I still like hardcore stuff, but I just don't search for new stuff that often anymore.

Buckcherry - 15
I'm enjoying it, but I think it's only got a couple more weeks left in it though.

Still rotating Radiohead's In Rainbows.

I'm in a productive groove at work: that usually means I have an electronic lounge / post rock / etc album on the headphones, preferably one without lyrics or at least without lyrics I can translate. Currently it's Sigur Ross: Takk.
We all know that there is no quicker way to empty a joke of its peculiar magic than to try to explain it -- to point out, for example, that Lou Costello is mistaking the proper name "Who" for the interrogative pronoun "who," etc. - D.F.Wallace
Have you heard either of their previous albums? They're good, more straightforward, but I don't think they can stack up against Brother, Sister.
Xbox Live: Deathbird69

Just got Muse's HAARP cd/dvd combo album from Amazon yesterday so that is currently playing in the background as I work. But usually I have Pandora up in the background playing my NIN/Manson/Audioslave/System of a Down channel so not really any particular album per se.
When Bruce Banner gets angry, he turns into the Hulk. When the Hulk gets angry, he turns into Mr. T.
Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings - Counting Crows
It's slowly growing on me. Closest to Recovering the Satellites that they've come since then.
Psychotic Foreign Teenage Chicks are so hot. - Legion
...they can also come bathe in the glorious, healing light of my Johnson. - Prederick
I'm a big fan of Thrice and was hesitant to check this album out as it was touted as being a huge departure for them. I'm glad I did though. I think it's quite good. As long as I pretend it's someone else, it's fine. On a side note, the second part (Alchemy Index 3 & 4) comes out next week I believe.
Are you two into trying new things?
Theory of a Deadman - "Scars and Souvenirs"
A Mind Without Purpose Will Walk In Dark Places
"I may be out of ammo but I ain't out of chainsaw B*TCHES!" - Sinister's warcry for Gears of War
What is the album thing that you play from start to finish?
I'm pretty much always on shuffle.
The last album I purchased was Bonepony - Jubilee. Not as good as Stomp Revival, but worth the bucks.
last.fm just introduced me to Lavay Smith and Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers, who are in strong contention for next purchase.
Southern Culture on the Skids I never tire of.
Guess I'm on some weird "retro kick" right now.
The last album i bought was 'The Hoosiers: The Trick to Life'. It's a strange album in that it mixes two different styles - the popular (pop) style that has been shown in all their released tracks and a Beatles-esque style that is really good.
While i like all the songs bar one on the album, the released chart songs are nowhere near the best.

The Cinematic Orchestra - Ma Fleur
Dethklok - The Dethalbum
Gamertag: RiverRatMatt
Witchlight Cycle: Sithis of the Thelis'Thale Clan, Dragonborn Paladin of Moradin
What kind of music is that? Sounds like something to add to my collection! (seriously!)
XBox Live: MaxShrek .... Steam ID: MaxShrek
Ooo, I didn't know about that! I'm going to have to check that out post haste.
