I am sure all of you had a show or another that you loved but kicked the bucket.
Mine are:

These are the only two I can remember signing petitions and ranting on network forums for.

I, too, am signing this Mourning of Firefly thread. Also, waaaaay back, it's a shame that Fawlty Towers got only 12 episodes, it was some of the best comedy writing and performing ever.

Well firefly for one, and most of the shows that I grew up on. Most of the Nick shows I want BACK, curse you Nick, curse you. It seems a lot of shows that I have liked have been canceled, like Enterprise..which they need to start up a new series or start on the voyager movies.

I don't know the history of the show but I'm willing to guess that it didn't get canceled. Outside of America shows will run for limited times instead of while the ratings are good. Another BBC example would be The Office. 12 episodes divided into 2 6 episode series and 2 Christmas specials. The only other example I could offer would be Anime. I'd love more Cowboy Bebop but that show did what it wanted to and it's not coming back.

Let's get Firefly and Arrested Development out of the way.
Samurai Champloo's ending could easily be a season ending.
Angel had an abrupt ending. Not the last episode per se, but the last season. I would love to have seen what Joss could have done with one more like he planned.

Deadwood. Deadwood. Deadwood. I still say it was the greatest show ever to grace the TV screen. To have ended it early was an affront to all that is good and holy in the world of entertainment.
And for the record, I am pissed that the SciFi channel had to rush to finish Farscape in that TV movie thing. Also, it's too bad Firefly wasn't given more of a chance. It was the only Joss Whedon show that didn't piss me off.
