Chiggie in this week's Escapist
Tuesday, April 1st, 2008 - 2:08pm
Just a head's up, everyone: Our very own Chiggie von Richthofen has an article in this week's edition of The Escapist. It's their first ever fiction issue and frankly? Chiggie's article kicks ass. Which, if you've read any of his stuff here, you could have already guessed.
Anyway, go check it out here. (Warning, thar be some NSFW language ahead.)

Fan-tastic. Nice work Chigster!

Nice work, Chiggie. That was a fun, short read!

Awesome sauce'em.
The escapist continues its tear of good articles and good writer choice.

Like trapped or he wrote something? Hearing Chippie rant on being trapped within the internet would be quite amusing.
Good job, you wolverine wannabe.

First, I really, really liked the hook. I've always wondered what the real psychophysiological effects of a virtual reality system would have on us. Getting artificial sensory data beamed directly into our brains smacks of all kinds of unforeseen problems, feedback loops and overload, etc. Then, as with all good writers, your characters gained such life that they captivated my attention beyond the mechanics of the story. I even enjoyed the little twist. Great piece of short fiction, that. Bravo.

Great read, Chiggie!

Congratulations man. Now on to step 3 in Team Awesome's devious plan to... oh, nevermind. I've said too much already.

Great work Chiggie!
Seems like every Gwjer, except me, can produce great literary work, oh the shame!

Sadly my great literary works are limited entirely to people's sigs.

Well done, Chiggie. Now just flesh that out into a 700ish page novel.
Hoi, chummers!
Great read, so when does Chiggie release his first comic book?

Oh Chiggie, what have you done? Now I have your full name and I can find where you live. I'm coming, and I need a place to crash for a while. And no, I don't know how long it will take me to get back on my feet. And yes, that is a portable futon. I'm just gonna set it up in the living room, cool?
Seriously, cool little article.

I've been on vacation this last week and wondered when that article was coming out. I'm sitting in an internet cafe with a big dumb grin on my face. I'm thrilled you all liked it, and it's pretty much fact that if I hadn't found this site, that article would have never happened.

That was a really, really great read. Not quite as angry as I'm used to from Chiggie.
