Anyone have Dropbox beta invites?

I've been hoping to get in the beta but no luck so far. Anyone here have invites by chance? I've heard beta testers get 5GB at launch whereas new users will only get 1GB so that upped the stakes.

Wow. Looks amazing. I liked all the little in-jokes in the demo movie, HD DVD encyp key and what not.
We shall grapple with the ineffable, and see if we may not eff it after all.
Any idea how much this will cost when it goes live?

Woohoo! I happened across some beta codes. Follow the link at the end of the second paragraph.
Also there are some other players in this realtime synchronization field:
- FolderShare - what I've used for years now
- Syncplicity - just found out about it last night from Lifehacker.com
- SugarSync - I'm going to check it out. The Windows Mobile access may make it come out on top for me, especially if they add versioning.
- BeInSync

Anyone have any invites? I'm a little late to this as I hear it soon to exit beta, but I would like to try it out. For those who have tried it for a while, anything better?

I have some invites too. I don't use Dropbox though as you can't specify custom folders. I have to use a sync service that works with my existing file structure. I've been using Syncplicity but might check out the new MS Mesh service.

The new update is supposed to let you specify a custom folder. I'm still waiting for them to release the linux build. They've already shown screenshots of it working on Ubuntu on their forums, but they've yet to release it.
