2.4 is live, I already downloaded it, just waiting for the servers to come up. Anyone going to be around this afternoon want to form up a 5 man to try out the instance? I assume we will need the usual- tank, healer 2 CC & 1 dps. I can come on my lock>restro druid>mage.

I'll be on this evening. If I didn't have pesky school, I'd be all over an afternoon run.

I won't be on this evening, but I'll be on Wed/Thurs if anyone wants to run it then.

Did I hear that you have to run it once in normal to unlock it in Heroic? I am looking to farm the heck out of it on Heroic for the awesome new trinket!

I'm so exited & hyper about the patch I can't sit still & this coffee isn't helping. I guess I should read about it more & see where I need to go etc.

I think there will be no shortage of people headed there, don't worry.

While you're at it, find out if there's a quest or something you need to do to unlock Heroic Magister's Terrace, please? I'd hate to run it on regular and then find out I missed something and have to do it again. XD

I've been placing lots of ads and walking the streets, but the dream just hasn't happened for me yet.

Fed, the quest you are looking for is called Hard to Kill. It's the final quest in a short chain that ultimately involves you killing Kael on Normal.

I didn't MEAN to call in sick. I did, then decided to toss up a thread for my paper I got due. In doing so, I found out the patch was today, ergo, school tonight is not going to happen

Here's a link to some info about the new zone. http://www.wowwiki.com/Isle_of_Quel'Danas. Flight path from EP. There might be a boat going there too.

I'll post more later, I'm doing stuff around the house.

You can actually get a port there from Shattrath City either from the Aldor or Scryer areas from what I read. I'm not 100% sure of this, but remember reading it on wowwiki as Schnuggles had mentioned.

I believe you have to complete some daily quests to open up that portal.

There should be a FP from Light's Hope Chapel in EP for Alliance players. It will be automatically available for level 70s.

Again, though, can't confirm anything until it goes live.

Man, trying to do dailies there is going to be a nightmare. On the positive side, I should have no competition for the netherwing dailies!

I've been reading wowinsider.com, there's ALOT of info on it.

This is a stupid question, but does anyone know how to get there in the first place?

I think from EP or Ghostlands.

Yes. From either of those, or if the server dailies are done and the portal opens. You can't swim there (anymore). The Isle is north of the Ghostlands.

For the Alliance, I am not sure to be honest. It will be worth looking for, just to see. I do not believe they intend for that area to be reachable by low level characters, though I could be wrong.

Some very, very good looking drops in there. I saw a number of items that would go a long way in upgrading Vel, even in the normal instance. Hopefully I won't miss out on all the fun by waiting until tomorrow to get into these.
