After 7.5 months sober,

I plan on leaving my horde chars alone on spinebreaker and joining you all on BHA.

I look forward to feeding my addiction, oh yeah I took my wife down with me this time as well.

Very true..too bad we were not on a low population server. In that case Blizzard would be more then happy adding toons to build-up and not just adding to a full server.

The key to victory is to not suck as bad as the other side.

Do they still give the trial codes out to people which they can then give to others and get a free 1 month credit when they sign up? I know way back when I got five free months out of that.

Don't know about discounts, but send me a tell in-game, and I'll bake you a "welcome aboard" cake.

Welcome and for all you newbs don't forget to ask for a few 16-slot bags from the guild bank. We have them there with you in mind and I guarantee in short order they will make your life much easier.

Anyone tried making a private server?

I downloaded all the software with the idea of tinkering with new classes (if possible) but then decided it wasn't worth the risk of ruining the install or getting a virus. So I just continued playing my real characters.

I did this for LineageII and it was such a hassle to keep it updated and working. Still it was a LOT of fun while it was up.

He's serious. Just ask a CFO (an Exec with bank access priviledges) or Reap to get one for you.

What I like to do is set up new people with 14-slotters, instead of 16-slotters.

Why? Because 16 slots and up soulbind -- where with the 14s, they can pass them on to other new players when they're done, so they stay 'in-play', so to speak.

If you are a tailor and have extra 14 slot bags, we can give them out to the new toons as well. As they need more space the 14 slot bags can be turned into bank slots or sent back to the guild bank for redistribution. A majority of the high level cloth put into the guild bank gets turned into bags for guildies.

Short form - If you need bags, let us know and we'll get you hooked up with what we have on hand.

Don't worry if we run out, we'll make more...

Yeah, it's worth noting just how completely cheap is to make 16 slot bags for folks over level 60. No one should ever feel bad asking for a set -- honestly, depending on what kinds of enemies you are fighting, at times it can be difficult to keep from drowning in Netherweave Cloth.

Basically. I was just dumping Netherweave bags onto the AH for a while, because I was just swimming in the netherweave, and the guild bank was full on bags at the time. I really wish you could get more points in Tailoring from making those.

And runecloth bags aren't much harder, but I tend to have to buy the rugged leather. Still, I was able to create 3 RC bags just from our single Ramparts run last night. I'll probably dump these on the guild bank today if I get on... Not worth the trouble of the AH, and I think I have a dozen or so of them making their way through my alts as it is. Great for starter bags.

It is tough to start over... Since logging back on for the first time i have been sucked back in to it on the horde side on spinebreaker.

I will create a char on BH. I have never played ally, any side effects I should be worried about?

It seems with the new changes to WSG that we may have WSG as well. Damage taken by the flag bearer increases by like 50% after 10 minutes of him having it and 100% after 15 minutes he has it. So Horde can't hide with the flag anymore like they are known to do in my battlegroup.

Okay, what's up with this play? I ended up in one where my team was doing this and it made no sense to me.

From the times I've seen it, it seems to just boil down to plain old turtling (sp?). Maybe to farm a few more honor kills before the match is over or maybe just to annoy the opposing forces.

That's my take on it as well. I still see too many people in BGs trying to farm kills or possibly doing other things I'd rather not know about - I just know they're not going after the flag or resource points.

I found myself reinstating my account last night after almost 11 months away. I'm shelving my 70 rogue on Nazjatar and have rolled Maxoxo Gnome Warlock on Blackhand. Not sure how long I'll be active (I still have a few months active with EQ2), but I'd like to powerlevel this little guy as fast as possible. The leveling is a lot slower than I remember (especially compared to EQ2). Maybe it's just the Gnome/Dwarf starting area.
