Holy Crap: 17 minutes of Persona 4 (Update: US release confirmed)
Friday, March 21st, 2008 - 1:55am
That's right, Persona 4. It's on PS2, coming to Japan in June. Hopefully we'll have it stateside by the holidays, or at least by the same time next year. No shooting in the head in this one, apparently fancy glasses are how they unlock their Personae.
EDIT: Link fixed.

Given that they are actually releasing Persona 3 FES here, I think it's a safe bet that we'll see this at some point.

The link is a 404 for me, but found the video on GT here.
Fancy glasses? Somehow, suicide is more impressive.

Looks nice, but after all those hours of Persona 3 grinding, the glasses will take some adjustment. Now we get our Evokers at LensCrafters.

Okay, so I didn't see anything posted, so I'll just rez this thread:
Persona 4 is being released here in the US, and it won't be a long wait. It's coming on December 9th, it will be a two disc collector's edition (game disc and soundtrack), and it will cost $39.99. US Trailer.

Yeah, this is pretty much a day 1 purchase for either myself or my roommate (or, I suppose, both of us). Hard to get too juiced for it as it's still a good five months away, but more RPGs = good. It's just sucks that I'm going to dump another ~300 hours into this game just like I did Persona 4.
Remember, only by treating everyone with dignity and respect can we maintain the element of surprise for that inevitable day when we wipe our enemies from the face of the Earth.
For clarification, "bnpederson" is pronounced "Brian."
Nice. I'm happy that a publisher is releasing the soundtrack with the game and not as a pre-order bonus.
