Whatever happened to Fletcher?

Years ago I got turned on to GWJ when I stumbled across GWJ Radio on Itunes one day. I would listen to it at work and laugh uncontrollably, much to the chagrin of my coworkers and bosses. Now, I know the Fletch went over to The Escapist, and that's an excellent move for him, but I wonder: Does he ever swing back in to say howdy? Any chance of a cameo on the Conference Call? What say you?

Yes, he still comes here every once in awhile, and you're in luck with the podcast! He recently joined in on one to much of our enjoyment.

Yet even then we ran like the wind,
whilst our laughter echoed under cerulean skies...

He works for the Escapist as an editor. Maybe, THE editor, I can't remember. He's some sort of big cheese, either way. Trundling about with his laser pointer and his large coffee. NOT playing Halo with us.

Seriously, though, if you want to read more of his work there is still plenty out there it's just not being published at this site anymore. He's doing very well for himself and remains a proud feather in the cap of this community.

I'm honestly not trying to sound sarcastic. He's a wonderful man.

Very gentle.

Smells of lavender.

Thanks for letting me know about the call, I missed a number of them between the fifties and the mid seventies, so that one passed under my radar, I will definitely check it out. And the Escapist is an excellent site, most assuredly.

Holy crap, the softer side of Chiggie.

Now we know his weakness. Exploit it, NOW!

Well, he's not all puppy dogs and lollipops.

He has expressed to me that he doesn't care for The Who, which is an early sign of dementia.

I always figured Gwaihir owed him a huge favor.

He's not THE editor as in editor-in-chief, but he's close. I know that he's a very busy man either way. However, he still finds time to poke in his nose around here from time to time.

Summoned by the Mixster ... what a touching thread. I live, I assure you.

At The Escapist, my blog, False Gravity and ... ~home~ as Kirk said. Chasing about the galaxy is a game for the young, doctor.

Glad to be missed. I'm not THE editor at Escapist, as my brother pointed out, but I do my share. I'm actually training a minion to take over some of my stuff now. I like having minions.

If you can convince yourself to like them to the tune of $50,000, you might acquire the Wordsmythe CV in your inventory.

What, inventory items aren't tantalizing enough for you? Do I need to offer some kind of achievement?
