Awesome! You're on your way to being a proper hunter!

That's why I sounded so surprised when we were in STV... fiery's a great enchant, but more for rogues and warriors. You'd be better off with dual +agi enchants and a big gun or bow. Except for Wing Clip or maybe the very occasional Raptor Strike, if you're whacking critters with your weapons, you're blowing it.

That's why I was saying that they're 'stat sticks' -- they're mostly to buff up your ranged weapon, not actually be useful or do damage themselves.

Not sure if you've seen this yet, but one thing a lot of early WoWers miss... never walk backwards. Always strafe. You can run sideways at full speed and just rotate a little bit to get an angle for Arcane Shot, or stop for a heartbeat to get a regular shot or a multishot off. If you run straight away, particularly from rogues or druids, they'll tear you to pieces... but if you run sideways, it's much harder for them to get off their back attacks on you.

Amen Brother...All you want to do is get the BEST combo you can out of melee weapons for +Agi, Sta, and RAP. I really enjoy BRK and he is the one whom talked me into going BM after 2+ years of Marks and could not be happier. Once you understand the mechanics of how a BM hunter does dmg and uses his pet to the max, you too with be very pleased with your increased DPS and survivability.

Whats up with that baseball dude calling us out in the comments? I don't remember anybody by that name at all. Clearly he has no clue what he is talking about. Would love to duel him since he clearly runs on Blackhand.

Was just a comment for the questionable theorycraft that goes on in these forums -- Pinchy and I got a good laugh out of the "as much as you can fit in" conversation regarding spell penetration.

Really it came off meaner than I intended, especially since I realized after-the-fact that cicc is a bonafide new player. (I put +9 weapon damage on my tanking staff back in the day so I'm guilty of the same mistakes =))

I'm really pretty bad at pvp, plus duelling a feral druid isn't really much to write home about, but I'd be happy to indulge you. =)

Well..it has been a long time since you posted. It is one thing to talk and thread in these forums, but once you exit this "safe" area and enter another forum and speak such strong words...Kinda set me off.

To an outsider reading that comment...hmmm...look at it from a different perspective.

There shouldn't be opinions about how stats work. Their workings are based off formulas(that can be found here) that don't change unless Blizzard does so in a patch.

I'm sure someone using a fork to eat soup has a great opinion of why it's better than a spoon but it doesn't mean it's the proper tool for the job.

It really comes down to the fact that each class has certain stats and bonuses that benefit it and others stats and bonuses that don't affect it at all.

I'm not defending Seth because he is a chode, but I will tell you where his dark hatred for hunters comes from. It goes far back into ZG where we spent countless of hours wiping on trash just because certain hunters didn't want to use the proper gear for job but instead wore cloth peices because they "looked nice."
