Ok it's been a week by now you should know, if you like the game or not. Let's do a league anybody who is interested, in playing in a league please post.
I'm pretty sure Swampy is about ready to start one. He was just waiting to see if folks were into it as you suggested, and to get the pitching down. But the big thing is to wait for 2K8 to solve the server lag (which they had admitted is a problem in their forums and are working on it).
Swampy suggested too(I hope he doesn't mind me taking this out of the other thread of his) we should play a small tourney first just to see how everything works. I think we have about 5-6 folks who are interested, so it's looking good to get things going.
I know Swampy is pretty swamped ;>) right now with several things, so if you want to get things rolling Frankie', I'm sure he wouldn't mind (and probably be relieved:>)
EDIT: Oh yea! I'm in *Chuckle* (Padres 'cause the Mariner's have been taken).
EDIT 2: Oh, and one last thing. You have to play blindfolded:>)

They have released it. Go to Live front desk, then new content and there is a place to select and download the roster and save to your HD. It's been out since at least last weekend.

Well they haven't release a roster update that puts Bedard on the M's yet.
The crappy the spring training performance for established vets, the better regular season...

Frankie, I messaged King Cohiba and asked him to reconsider picking it up. Other than that I can't think of anyone.
Played another good game with Donan last night. I'm ready for a tourney.
One setting that may need adjusting - Passed balls/wild pitches needs to be nerfed a bit.
