I'll be in the area the third week in April. If it is around then, I'd love a chance to meet some of my internet friends in person.

I should be around. Third week in April will be about the time I'm testing at my Thai boxing class, so I may be a little busy.

I'm still in the area and up for some S&T action. But not if Paleo has been practicing his slapping at Thai Boxing class!

But I also missed the first post and would be interested in a fully clothed S&T.

I'm interested and nearby. I'm busy 2nd and 4th weekend of April. Everything else looks good according to my google calendar.

Robert and Kiri haven't shown up yet, but shall we try to swing for the second weekend of April? I'm no good with directions to Dave and Buster's, or anywhere else that would provide amusement for us.

I vote for Rock Band.

D&B's is kind of expensive and annoying, IMHO. But I also don't know the area well enough to suggest anything better. Aside from raid someone's house and play rock band!

Also, I'm good for just drinking until we're sleepy then gaming until we can't remember where our pants are.

It's also the one weekend I'm wearing pants, and now I have to forget where I put them.

While it's a bit north of DC, we could host a lunch/dinner portion of the S&T. We just got a brand new gas grill that we can cook on, and if everyone brought a little something then it should keep it from being real expensive for any one of us. So it'd be like an early spring BBQ. We have a decent sized patio that we could fit a couple tables and chairs on, if you guys could bring that as well.

Granted, we can't really do much gaming/entertaining (only have a Wii for multiplayer stuff, and not many titles for it), so we'd have to figure out something else to do, or somewhere else to go, after we eat. Also, parking might be a small issue, but I'm sure we can work it out (plenty of large stores nearby).

Just an idea. Let me know if you guys are interested, and we'll try to work out a system for bringing food/drinks/etc. This will only really work for the second or fourth weekend in April though, unless my wife's schedule changes.

I'd be happy to bring my Rock Band setup. All it needs is power, a TV, speakers, and human sacrifice. I could also bring my Wii and the new Smash Bros.

I don't know how well that'd work out, since we only have a 20" standard tube TV with small built in speakers. We've been trying to save up for a decent sized one for a while, but buying the new place tapped us out.

I have a Wii though, so if you want to bring any titles to play (and maybe a couple extra controllers, I have 2 remotes/nunchucks, and 3 GCN controllers), it might not be a bad idea. It'll give a few of you something to do while the food cooks.

I too have Rock Band and willingly offer it for group enjoyment, but my place is kind of small and not swanky enough for the GWJ hordes.

I think this celebration asks for some appreciation of the outdoors and the onset of Spring. I like Pur's idea of a sacrificial offering on a nice new grill.

Rock Band works for me since I finally had a chance to play it for a few hours on Monday, and loved it. I suck at drumming but it doesn't stop me from trying many many times.
