Hi, I'm a D-bag!
So I just joined these here forums a few days ago and have been weaseling my way into a couple of TF2 games in Stan's and chiming in on a few posts here and there and boy does it feel awkward! To just attempt to slip in and integrate with an established community isn't easy, and without any introduction section (That I could find) its hard to make that first connection.
So! To avoid any more questions like "How'd you get the password for this server?" or simply being summarily dismissed like in Eldain a Firmoinm, this is my introduction!
I'm 22, married, and presently attending a school with the Air Force in glorious (and still recovering) Biloxi, MS for six months. I'm with the Air National Guard in West Virginia and decided I had had enough searching trucks and sought to flex that ol' brain. Here I am learning about circuits, electromagnetism, networking and so on while also utterly without my homiez (for the front page). I've spent every shred of spare time doing what I've always done best: Game until my friend Carpal Tunnel visits me. Everything Valve, CoD4, Starting up LOTR:O again (just couldn't do WoW again after a couple clean years) SOASE, Company of Heroes... you name it, I probably play it or have in the past. But there's still that social aspect I've missed.
There you are, trusty internet! Save me from my solitary woe! The conference calls kept me company on my drive down to Mississippi and I found a teeming community of (apparently) like minded --and similarly positioned-- people.
So here I am,--awkward as can be-- assimilating myself into the company of good people (Debatable I'm sure). Nice to meet you!

There is a reason there is no introduction section or many introduction posts.

I'm seriously considering removing that section from the code of conduct. While I don't want a deluge of folks filling up the forums with introductions, I'm not sure I care for the constant flood of "Read the Code of Conduct" everytime someone tries to become a part of the community. It seem entirely unwelcoming.
