Hoshi Saga 1 & 2
Hoshi Saga and Hoshi Saga 2 are collections of beautiful black-and-white puzzles in which the goal is to discover, reveal, or create a five-pointed star. Each installment features 36 minigames, laid out on a grid. Completing any single row, across or down, unlocks an additional puzzle. Both games thoughtfully remember your progress for future visits.
Many of Hoshi Saga's puzzles are Wario-Ware-like in their simplicity, and it's a shame that they're over so quickly. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more artful, clever, and charming minigame collection.
Hoshi Saga, like Cursor*10, is the brainchild of prolific Flash developer Yoshio Ishii. If you'd like to check out more of his work, try poking around his website Nekogames (In Japanese, google translated version here).

And if anyone knows how to complete Stage 49 (the third puzzle down in the second column from the left) in Hoshi Saga 2, let me know. I'm baffled.

I love these games.
So long last shred of productivity.

There's a bomb in that one, right? I don't know why it's not working for you because I just did it without a problem.
What I don't understand is Stage 61.

What is this bomb you speak of? I saw no bomb.

Ha! I just figured it out. I had already done it, but couldn't remember how, the bomb wasn't reappearing this time.
You have to play Stage 43. One of the boxes reveals a bomb that falls through the level, down to Stage 49.
I too need help with Stage 61.

Edit: ah yes, now I see the bomb. That's what I get for playing on two different PCs.

Oh! That was the only puzzle I couldn't figure out. Thanks!
The game was pretty cute overall. My favorite puzzle by far was Stage 47. Time happily wasted.

Ugh I can't figure out 29 on the first one.
I'm not really a girl. I just play one in video games.

You need to connect the bottom of the strings to the tops of others, forming a loose star pattern. if you mess up, press the button to reset them.
Now, can anyone tell me how to figure out 33 in the first game? (Bottom row, third from left)

Thanks M.Violet
Umm... and how do i adjust the colors in my posts so I can Hide Spoilers, like the one I posted?
33 doesn't seem to be working for me... any chance of a more precise spoiler? Following the one above gives me no results.
Nice different calsual games, very mind relaxing at least for me, thanks.
Okay #21 seems to be this:
An indistinct, non-interactive gray picture. Moving the mouse over the whole thing didn't seem to elicit a response or show any clickable areas. I am confused.

The one had kept me puzzled for the longest time was the one in Hoshi Saga 2 with the three identical girls viewed from shoulder to kness. There wasn't enough feedback from what turned out to be the correct mouse movement.

So long productivity... But now I've beaten them both.
Great stuff!
True, that one almost spoiled the whole party for me.
