I've seen a lot of specific loot guides of late for people prepping to get into KZ, but I've never seen anything all around and general, so here's one!

I personally used it for gearing out Neviril, and it took the guesswork out of it. You can prioritize gear by stat, which is quite handy, and makes getting a list of places to hit harder than normal easy. Enjoy

I was taking a look at this earlier today, since the site also gives you an idea of what gear is good for your class/spec all the way up to BT. There are some errors on higher level stuff, but should be accurate for Pre-Kara and Kara gearing.

Just a warning, it looks like the gear selections have not been updated for 2.3 yet.
None of the badge rewards are present, or anything from ZA. While the rewards aren't really for gearing up for Kara, specifically(more for 25-man content), they're still fairly easy to get compared to comparable-tier raid loot(most of the badge rewards are SSC-level gear). ZA also has some of the best pieces in the game for certain classes(Life-Step Belt, for resto druids), so it's pretty important to keep that instance in mind.

Yep, good site. I was using that for my "What the hell can get me +Spell Hit" quest last week.
If you're still leveling, it's best to go to the top level of the site ( http://wow-loot.com/ ) and click the button for your class. It'll show you a breakdown of what loot is good for your class, including quest rewards all by outlands zone and dungeon.
Also on the main page is the raid content section, which shows all the boss drops, who they're good for, etc. Here's the Kara one http://wow-loot.com/raid_kara.htm
Yeah the main page says things haven't been updated since 12/4. Hopefully the next week or two will see an update to things.
While certaintly true, bear in mind that the site is still in beta, and can be slow to update. ZA gear has been added to the main site, and I'd imagine with that being the case, badge rewards have been updated as well.

I was actually looking at the ZA drops today. It should be up. I know the 25mans don't quite understand tanking mechanics all that well, or atleast the difference in pally vs. warrior. Likewise, they have not included Prot Pallies for spell damage 1 handed swords and maces, and those are almost always upgrades.

Yep, this is why I prefer the gear guide to that type of stuff. It's much easier to prioritize stats for yourself as opposed to someone else doing it for you.

Yea, for early tanking it's pretty screwy, owing to the fact that it appears to be giving suggestions for kitty DPS, not bear tanking.

You have to be somewhat aware of your classes stat values, thus It forces a bit of theory craft on you.
