Anyone have Xobni invites?

I have heard good things about Xobni but it is in beta right now with the recently-typical "restricted" invite system designed to build buzz. So, do any GWJers have it and have invites available? If so, would you mind sending me one?

I'd be interested in one of these too if people have them. I'm not into social tools usually but this one looks neat and could be something I could use with my new business.

I heard it didn't hurt speed noticeably, but that is one of the things I want to check out Guru. I already have Lookout for searching, but was interested in the stat gathering of Xobni.

I use X1 Search for searching at work. It's not very sexy, but dependably and reliably plows through the jigabytes of my .PSTs.

On the email organization side, there is Clear Context. The conventions it employs to change the UI are quite radical, and it messes up with your folders structure in a way which you may be wary to commit to. Still, may be worth checking it out. I liked the filing features very much, but in the end ended up not using it for fear of the Compliance and IT Security police descending on me like eagles on that ol' poor Greek guy on a cliff (not GameGuru, some other, less famous one).

BTW check Xobni's overview video. The voice of the narrator belongs to Certis!

We have a small investment in Xobni so I can try to get a few more invites..

Too bad it won't work with OU's email.

I'm not generally touchy when it comes to privacy issues, but some of the stuff it wants to display for users is a little scary.

Sorry LeapingGnome, I got in the beta but have already sent out my 5 invites.

But this info is already in your inbox based on the email you send and receive. You already know the email of the sender and your contacts sometimes include a phone number in their signature that xobni extracts. I don't see the privacy concern in that.

I got 5 invites. Who wants them? Also I think the installer can just be emailed. Doesn't seem to be tied to any account info.

I do Edwin, still looking for one... I sent oldarmy a PM three days ago, but not sure how often he visits. I'll send you a PM now.

Thanks for the invite Edwin.

I really like it so far. The statistics pages are interesting along with being able to see any attachments you've ever exchanged with a person.

The only thing I don't like (and this may just be a setting I haven't found yet) is that the process for it starts up automatically even if I'm not running Outlook. No big deal, but just kinda annoys me knowing it's there.

I have 5 invites now as well if anyone else needs one.

Thanks Edwin. It's going through it's initial analyzing routine right now. I have about 75,000 emails, looks like it's going to take 45 minutes or so.

Now that I'm in, I have another 5 invites. One's taken already but I have 4 more if people want. PM me.
