I've been registered since I was able to vote. Admittedly, I'm registered as a Pacific Green party member, so I don't really count in the primaries. Been thinking about switching to another party though, probably Libertarian.

Registered today.
Registered GOP to vote for Ron Paul.
Plan on switching party to libertarian after election.

Revolution? Vacation? Somebody fart?
I've been registered since '92, when I voted for Bob Dole because the guy could shoot f*cking lasers from his eyes and that was goddamn cool.

I became eligible to vote last year, and registered. However, this website sez my registration is not on file.

Absolutely.
Been voting and contributing since 1984. I think this year, however, I'll keep my money to myself. Heck, I might even switch parties.

I just checked, my local polling place is about 2 blocks away. I guess I have no excuse not to vote this go round (didn't vote the last election, didn't know where the polling place was in my new place)

No problem. American politics is far more interesting than Canadian politics.

I registered through RockTheVote or something in 2000. I'm bad about reading snail mail and never opened and subsequently sent in my registration card. Whoops. Oh well, I would've voted for Bush back then. If his presidency had followed his campaign platform, that wouldn't have been half bad, though.
Mailed my registration card in to update my address last week so I can vote on Feb. 5 for Ron Paul. I looked it up earlier and I'm supposedly able to join the Republican party at the polling place so I can vote. I should really double check that.

Yes. As a citizen of Illinois, I don't have to register for any particular party in order to vote in the primary. I can pick a party's ballot at the polling place.
As a Chicagoan, I was probably voting before I was eligible and will continue to do so long after I die. Long live the Mayor!

Voted in every election, since I got my citizenship in '86.

Registered in Washington, not listed on that website but I've only been registered for a couple months cause I just moved here. In Washington it's all absentee ballot and there is no registering for any political party.

I'm registered as an independent (and have voted across party lines throughout my voting history), but would register as a Green party member if I could (they're the only actual party that lines up close to me currently).
I've voted in every primary election since '96 (when I hit voting age) and even keep tabs and vote in local voting opportunities when I am informed of what's happening.
totally off subject, but Vic you beat me to the punch on the new avatar. I've been poking at that same picture to get it to fit.
on subject... I've been registered since '87 and voted in every primary since.

Glad I got it first then. This place just wouldn't be the same without The Mouth of Sauron floating around.
