Just got my most recent edition of GFW Magazine, and started reading through last night. I noticed GwJ has added yet another contributor to their ranks (Mr. Sean Sands). The feature was great, btw (I won't spoil it for those who do not yet have their issue).

Was wondering if we could have a show of hands of who else from GwJ will be appearing in GFW in the near future? I think it's great since I have really enjoyed the direction they have gone with their magazine. The GwJ writers seem to fit in quite nicely.

Now, we just have to do our best to make certain someone's prediction for 2008 does NOT come true.... Everyone with GwJ subscribe to GFW Magazine. Consider it indirect support of the site!

I really hope they decide to give Mex and Rat Boy a dual feature on the dos and do nots of hitting it in the gaming industry.

Yeah it was fun to see us all in there. That one was a scramble, getting all those little ones to get there.

Mine just arrived yesterday. This situation sounded really unplanned - almost as if the GFW regulars were short on material. I hope that wasn't the case. Great issue and I hope they continue this "trend."

Just curious but what's on the cover of the issue? I let my subscription lapse and was itching to hit a bookstore this weekend for some new stuff.

This is crazy and frightening. I haven't gotten my issue, but I'm thinking about hiding in the underground bomb shelter until this scary business has become less scary.

Our time has come, PC gaming has become so dire that we are the keepers of the flame!

Or something.

Demigod.

For a sec I read that as "Demiurge" and my first thought was "Why the hell is he on the cover of a gaming magazine?"

Might as well play to our strengths.

There will be a coup, and we will run Jeff Green out on a rail and lead the magazine industry to a second renaissance. Or we'll play TF2.

No reason not to do both... TF2 could be a Thunderdome of sorts, deciding the fates of GFW and GWJ.

That's silly. They're all PC gamers. Challenge them to chainsaws at dawn.

I'm going to continue to not subscribe, as it would only fuel the spread of this new red menace.
